MK808 - Finless 1.6 Custom ROM

Anyone know how to download the rom ; it wont let me on firefox or chrome

I juse Skype version 3.0.0.6181 and the finless 1.6 with a Logitech c210 al works fine . Maby I have it wrong but with no stable internet connection the call drops also al the time. Try Ethernet . maby that's work fore you.

The connection is not the problem as I'm using Skype on my Motorola Xoom, and pc without any problem on the same network, plus the MK808 is 5 cm from the wifi router. I can also stream movies, and download anything at high speed on the MK808, and I have not yet to experience any slowdown.

Could you please try something for me ? Disconnect your camera then try a Skype call ?

I have also problem downloading. I can download bobs video on how to fix the wifi for the 808, but not the rom... so there has to be some problems with the download link...?

Done . I only see the other calling me . The echo sound failed no webcam no sound. First put your webcam to your POWERD USB hub than turn on you device. And not all models of the C serie are orking with Skype on the mk808 there are 3 of 4 working webcams .

Google Playstore

I have a error when I run Google Play Store:
"Error retrieving information from the server. [RH-01]"

Just tried this, but to no success:

"Open the" Google Play "app and press the home button to return
Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications
Select the "ALL" tab, search for "Google Play Store" and press it to open.
Press "Clear cache"
Press "Force Stop"
Return to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications
Press the "Google Services Framework"
Press "Clear Data"
Press "Force Stop"
Start "Google Play Store" and it should give an error
Reboot.

Once your device has restarted Google Play Store should work. Wait a minute or too if it does not.
This should help if a corrupt cache is the cause of your problems (a corrupt cache might lead to strange error messages, amongst others). If it does not help, you might try the same steps but include "Clear Data" for the playstore app. "

Other applications (YouTube, Gmail ...) work without problems.

nothing but Not Support on my Vizio 37" tv after working correctly with stock rom

So after a couple of weeks with the stock device working perfectly, I attempted to turn it on the other day and was surprised to find it not working. the blue light is on, but the HDMI port just keeps coming back "Not Support". I flashed another rom from another forum, but the result is the same. I tried to download this one and flash it to the device, but the download link is sending me to success html page but no download. any ideas what going on with it?

Notes for those having trouble with downloading the ROM file:

-Use Firefox
-Log in before trying to download the file AND click remember me, I think remembering my login was what finally gave me access after trying so many times.

Aye, I have the exact same problem, tried so many different things but without success, all I get is "call failed" And the whole reason I bought the mk808 was for Skype on the big tv
Can anyone confirm it was working in 1.5a ? If so I will have to switch to it, and hope for a fix in 1.7.

What model of webcam are you using? I'll try 1.5a when I'm on leave at the tail end of next week.
