Go into settings and then into wifi. Click advanced and it should list the the IP info.

Thanks Bob for the advise. I am able to see the IP address. sadly, Google TV remote app cannot connect to MK808 from my iPhone.

I really appriciate the work that you have put in. Lot of people enjoy it...It is fabulous... Keep going...

Love version 1.6 custom ROM Bob - thanks.

I prefer to connect to my home network and Internet via Ethernet using fixed IPs. This works 100%, however just a comment - when checking notifications (at the bottom right of the screen) the unit reports No Internet Connection even though there is.
Didn't have this when using WiFi also with fixed IP which went through the same router.
Not a problem but would be nice to clear this error.
Any suggestions?

Great work you are doing, I really like this little device and anything that makes it more useable has my vote.

I really appreciate the effort put into simplifying the install.

My only reservation would be the awfully busy wallpaper. nice picture but!

Wifi won't detect access points

Hello all I am brand new to this I am tech savy so I will start with my issue, I got my mini already loaded with a bunch of stuff so I decided to start from scratch with a new rom, bare with me I am new to android, I flashed 1.5a and it worked but I will try to turn WiFi on and it says "turning wifi on" and then it doesn't detect anything and then shuts it off, I try rebooting etc etc. so I thought I will try 1.6 so I flashed it all is well except I have the same problem. I rebooted the modem, tried alot of stuff like rebooting everything now I am asking for help as I am a tiny bit frustrated. Thanks to anyone who can help, I will donate to finless if this gets resolved.

After the 1.6 reinstalled several times. I still have the blue screen and shaking. I do not know what I can do?

Verified it is an MK808B good thing to otherwise I would hunted down the Indian dude that sold it to me and demanded my money back. If you saw how nervous he was selling it to me, + I am 6'3" 275lbs, I bet I would have gotten my money back tee hee. Thanks a million for the heads up.

I do plan to make a 1.6 for the real MK808B but right now I am working on getting the CLONE guys working. This is higher priority because the poor folks with these do not really have anything right now.

As for donation, that is exactly what it means. Whatever you feel in your heart to give.

In response to Kozmo2k4's immediate helpful comment and in order to make matters clear to yourself. I am an old fashioned English techie and the mention of the wallpaper was by way of polite conversation and not intended in any way as a criticism.

Aren't these forum police guys just doing a wonderful job.

Looking forward to further great stuff from you in the future 1.7 sounds like another useful step forward.
