MK808 - Finless 1.6 Custom ROM

I wish I could help with the web came stuff but it is impossible for me to have every model and test it.

All I can ask is that if you can supply me with a logcat dump, I can have a look and see whats going on.
Also if your using some other 1080 kernel, this could be the problem so please try with the kernel I provided int he ROM kit.

As for ethernet adapters... there are many out there and the kernel and system only have drivers for a few of them. The RD9700 is not one of them that I am aware of. So we would need sources to compile one or a JellyBean kernel module .ko driver for that device.

I found my MK808 boot freeze and reboot (boot loop).

but It boot fine with kizs_kernel_v2_1.5GHz_720 (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/44128030/kiz...1.5GHz_720.img).

How to fix this problem ?

I really do not know all the kizs kernals out there but if it is overclocked and cant boot.... good chance your hardware cant deal with the overclock.

My system.img has nothing to do with all that so I cannot tell you how to fix...

But I honeslty cannot answer your question as I do not know what all those kernels do... Thay are not my kernels. Maybe ask Kizs this question?

On stock kernel finless 1.6 is laggy and freeze in sometime when I use Thai TV & Radio Free app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...c.thaitv&hl=en)

Screen Timeout

Hi,

can anybody tell me if there is a way to change the screen timeout setting?

I am running the MK808 on a plasma tv and want to avoid screen burn in if it happens to get left unattended

I removed that junk as no one wanted the stock launcher and thus the settings to go with it.
The standard settings icon will give you everything you had in the 2 cog settings menus.

Thanks for the reply. I need to know what IP address assigned to the device. Where do I see in this settings? There was a Network settings in the 2 cog settings menu where IP address used to show. I need to know the IP address because to connect from google TV remove app from my phone.

Go into settings and then into wifi. Click advanced and it should list the the IP info.

Awesome rom great stuff. Just wanted to confirm I can replace your recovery.img with a CWM compatible one. I make galaxy note 2 roms so I know how much work goes into a release great job

I have a working CWM that I made for the ug802. It might also work on the MK808.

Thanks for the great ROM. Testing now on mk808 (so far so good). the remote worked on tab , but failed to install on phone (custome rom zte blade 4.1).

Hi all


Im having real issues installing the drivers, i get as far as booting it into flash mode (using the pin method) and navigating to my drivers, it starts to install them and then says my device is not compatible (it calls my device 'RK80)

I have googled for other drivers but i can't get any of them to work either

I have tried it across 2 computers (windows 7, and windows 8 with driver sig security turned off) both of them get to the same point


I bought this product from Amazon:

WIFI problem

Hi there.
I got my new MK808 and started it up and connected with WIFI. I then decided to flash it with Finless 1.6 and it went great. Except that I did not read the text about the Bluetooth support...and i have it. Now I tried to flash with the Finless MK808B version but cannot get my WIFI to start. It says "Turning on WIFI" but then turns back to OFF. Any ideas ?
