Amazing ROM

Thanks Bob for this great ROM you made. I just bought some months ago the MK808 and, first, it never worked fine and never booted correctly (this was solved with a new 2 Amp power supply). So I decided to flash your ROM and now I'm Bob-Finless-Addict

Now I can do a lot of things I never was supposed to do with the original ROM, so, your work will never will really appreciated but, from here, a new user, receive a big thanks and congratulations on your heavy work.

...but - why does an internet-radio app like Xiia still run after shutdown ?
I noticed this at other rom with any shutdown app before ... but it's still there - with ur elegant shutdown-button too - so it's hard to believe, that anything goes off for sure

Hello! In xbmc when the task bar is hidden it cannot get restored. Can we map the recover event on a keyboard key?

Have you tried f11?

On my rc11 the f1-f12 keys didn't work,so I mapped the volume up/down on f12/11. On my PC those buttons make these actions. If for you the f11 works what kB do you use, what is your default input method in settings? Can you send me this file to check it out? /system/usr/keychars/Generic.kcm
And could you tell me what is the key char number for the f11 on your keyboard? (You can find it for example with external keyboard helper)

Mmmm, I didn't note the 'rc11' part. I gave up on that and switched to a Logitech K400. It's kinda big but I can really type on it and pretty much everything 'just works' ie: I didn't have to change or set up anything... including some of the multi-touch gestures.
Sorry if that's not useful to you. I think there are a number of rc11 users here.

That's odd because geekbuying claims that they have tested logitech C170 & C270 and is working for them. Tried a older version of skype? powered usb hub ?

I can't even take a photo/video from my logitech C525 although voice recording works

Let me know how you go as I might consider getting a logitech c170 if it works

ok managed to do a few tests today. Borrowed another camera from a friend - Logitech C250 & C525

I flashed the finless 1.5a & 1.6 and same issues whereby skype just shows call failed when it receives the incoming call. Tried camera & it ends up taking a blank photo, no video but for some reason works when you try to take a panorama (Camera ICS app)

Next, i tried the new stock rom which was released from Geekbuying http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php...-10th-release/ and the same things as well

i'm at a loss.. really wanted skype to work so that i could video call with the folks overseas on the tv

-Used powered usb hub for the cameras
- Android v4.1.1
- Skype v2.9
used a power board for electricity which i'm guessing shouldn't be an issue?

this is bad news because i was about to buy a new camera today. i ve done a bit of searching and a lot of people are reporting that the camera works flawlessly when connnected to the OTG port. Can you try connecting all cameras you have one by one on the OTG port with and without the powered USB hub? may be that will help

I bought from Geekbuying the following:
MK808B+ USB hub + Camera C170 + RC12
I connected the camera to the OTG port and it didn't work fine. and the USB hub come without power adapter and power cable. So I used an iPhone charger 1A and luckily I found a usb cable that fit in the little hole of the hub. so I connected the MK808B to the 2A power adapter and connected the hub to the Big USB port and powered it with the iPhone charger 1A. Then I plugged the Camera and wireless dongle on the USB hub. Now the Camera work flowlessly on Skype and Camera ICS. I can take pictures, video and make video chat. Also I use talkatone to make phone calls using google voice.

I believe I did that with finless 1.5a and 1.6 but no success. I'll try it again tmr although I don't believe that it would be any different

Can anyone please tell me, does the Konig adapter work on Finless 1.6?
And could someone please perform a speed test?
I would like to know if it is able to reach 100Mbits speed.....

I HAVE BUY ME AN USB TO ETHERNET ADAPTER FROM CONRAD: IT WORKS PERFEKT WITH BOB´S 1.6 @ full 100 mbit.

HELP!

When it goes to check the download it gets almost 3/4 done and says error dowload failed. Then error run failed. But when writing it seems to have completed. Help please somebody?
