Settings not sticking

Installed the MK808 Finless 1.6 rom.
I seem to have a irritating problem, when clicking on a Video file in explorer it always ask which video player to use, MX player or the built in one? Even though I click this "Always". This is after restarting, it does not seem to remember these settings, any suggestions?

Don't reckognized USB stick anymore.

After i flash to 1.6 the player don't reckognized any USB stick.

We can't be the only ones who've noticed this. Mouse mode can't drag and touch mode can't tell what you're touching. SO close to useful but...

Sorry to be a pain but is this not possible or is it just the case that no one knows how to do it?

You two haven't told us what remote(s) you're using. It's hard to guess what your problem is without that essential information.

My Q7 works fine. I long press the OK button, and drag, just like a touch screen.

On my RC11, I press the left button & the center mouse button simultaneously.

On my RC12, I press the left button & use the touch pad.

Q7 & RC11 are gyro/mice.

To all the Finless 1.6 users who got Skype working, would you be so kind to tell me what you did to get it working ? What Skype version are you using ? Maybe another kernel ? All I get is "call lost" when either the caller or receiver answers

I use the app's touch pad mode. Press right index finger on touch pad, then press left index finger on left side of the bottom slider bar, & keep it there. Now you can move your right finger around, and the whole web page moves with it.

You can also double tap the rk source screen to activate commands.

Doesn't work for me. I tried the latest version (which i think was v3) and version 2.9 of skype. Voice & video call drops out as soon as i click receive. I'm using a logitech C525 webcam.

Hoping for a fix else i might try Finless 1.5a

First off, great Roms, very much appreciated!

Quick question- I recently tried to update from 1.5a to 1.6, and when I checked the 'about' page in Android, it still said 1.5a. I can hide the bar at the bottom and bring it back so I'm pretty sure I'm on 1.6. Just wanted to post this in case other people aren't sure if their update worked or not, and maybe we can get that updated for 1.7.

Hi Bob!
First i wanna thank you for all your effort to make this rom!

unfortunatly...

I've already installed this rom succesfully. (and did a format)
Its connected with the usb cable (not in the OTG) to a direct source.

The splash turns up, those lights begin to change (flicker), and then it freezes completely.
it somestimes rebootes a few times, and does the same, or it freezes immediatly at the splashscreen.

i've formatted (erase nand) it just to be certain 2 times, and then flashed it without any errors.
and suddenly it started succesfully! yaaaaaaaaaaaay
unfortunatly this only lasted a few seconds, when i setted up wifi (entered password) it completly froze again..

After this I reconnected the power cable, but it kept freezing at the splashscreen

** please keep in mind that the stock rom worked perfectly, so its no problem with the cable or power or something

i've tried other roms as well.. finless 1.5 and CM10, all freeze at some point (updating apps in market, or setting up wifi..)

ive read more about these problems and iam thinking its still somehow not working 100% with any rom..

The problem can't be my TV.. i've got a Samsung UE40ES5500 (NO 3D) which is brilliant..

Well, i have done the same as you. Flashed Finless 1.5 and 1.6 plus flashed back to stock just for the purpose of testing I can say that i do not have any of your problems, which should be a guarantee
that it couldn't be the ROM that's the problem?

So what's the difference? I bought my from Geekbuying:

Different hardware than your mk808?
Geekbuying sends a good correct power supply for the stick, could it
maybe be that you got the underdimensioned one that ppl had problems with?
Otherwise you might have to consider it actually might be something wrong with your stick

Aye, I have the exact same problem, tried so many different things but without success, all I get is "call failed" And the whole reason I bought the mk808 was for Skype on the big tv
Can anyone confirm it was working in 1.5a ? If so I will have to switch to it, and hope for a fix in 1.7.

Hi,

How can I uninstall superuser application and allow all su commands by default?

Superuser has a bug, doesn't work by default "automatic response > allow", allways do deny.

I juse Skype version 3.0.0.6181 and the finless 1.6 with a Logitech c210 al works fine . Maby I have it wrong but with no stable internet connection the call drops also al the time. Try Ethernet . maby that's work fore you.
