I cannot say for sure that will solve it but you can try... You certainly wont hurt anything changing that.
Also after making the change go into APPs and clear data for google play and reboot.

There is also a APP on google play that will FAKE your phone carrier and location. I forget the name of it but it fools google and APPs into thinking your on a UK, USA, etc phone carrier service. I think it is called Market Unlocker.

This is still working well for me on the UG802 on Finless/2dark4u 1.7 ROM...and it's also working on a ipegtop MK808 on stock ROM...

I don't need enable plug-ins checked for BBC iPlayer but it is needed for BBC News flash content in stock browser.

It has not always worked this well with previous ROMs, especially when these sticks first came out and were locked to the Chinese Google Play market....initially sorted with Market Enabler....

....and you will need to input the mobile carrier country code...

I have not tried ITV Player or 4OD!

            Good luck

              Hi Bob!
First i wanna thank you for all your effort to make this rom!

              unfortunatly...

I've already installed this rom succesfully. (and did a format)
Its connected with the usb cable (not in the OTG) to a direct source.

The splash turns up, those lights begin to change (flicker), and then it freezes completely.
it somestimes rebootes a few times, and does the same, or it freezes immediatly at the splashscreen.

i've formatted (erase nand) it just to be certain 2 times, and then flashed it without any errors.
and suddenly it started succesfully! yaaaaaaaaaaaay
unfortunatly this only lasted a few seconds, when i setted up wifi (entered password) it completly froze again..

After this I reconnected the power cable, but it kept freezing at the splashscreen

** please keep in mind that the stock rom worked perfectly, so its no problem with the cable or power or something

i've tried other roms as well.. finless 1.5 and CM10, all freeze at some point (updating apps in market, or setting up wifi..)

ive read more about these problems and iam thinking its still somehow not working 100% with any rom..

The problem can't be my TV.. i've got a Samsung UE40ES5500 (NO 3D) which is brilliant..

              Any ideas ?

Try to provide an air flow with a fan to cool it down and see if this helps. If you have an HDD plugged in, disconnect it and all the peripherials except mouse.

Try a better power supply! Your issues sound like many that had issues with the stock cheap china power supply.

                    ehomemediaconnect

When using the home connect media receiver, only half of my media is listed in each media category i.e. video, music?

                            are you certain ?
                            the standard installation worked fine.

it keeps freezing now with these roms.
And when its frozen, i need to reconnect it by unplugging the powercable..
And just to be certain i keep to reflash (reinstall) the device then because i disconnected it

because after 1 move, i reinstall it again after ruling things out..
