MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

Do you have a mk808b with rk903 wireless chip? Because almost all custom roms are only for this version (which is not produced anymore afaik).

I'm not sure if I have the rk903 wireless chip.. How do I find out? Is it labeled on the chip itself? And if I didn't have it does that mean that the device is not usable now anymore?

Yes, the rk903 is labeled if i remember correctly. If you are not sure post a picture of the inside of your device. To recover your device you have to flash a correct firmware. If you post pictures of the board i may be able to tell you which firmware you can flash.

This rom won't work.
Try one of the kitKat roms for Mediatek MT5931.

How to remove google account ?

was wondering is there a way to remove the current google account without having to reset everything on the mk808b device?

Usually it works that way: select the account in the settings menu. on the screen where you can select the services that should be synced, press the menu button and select "remove account".

Media "jerk" with dlna

Hi,

I installed this rom and it's better than the original ROM !

however, the image jerk when i start video by DLNA. I tried to install an other player and an other dlna software but it's the same problem. I tried with 350MB file, and 750mb and it's the same.

Any idea to solve that ?

I need help

I have a device (MK808B) that can't be flashed with "ROM Flash Tool" - it looks like everything flashes fine, but when it boots after being flashed, it freezes either on the google tv" screen, or just black screen, or with two penguins in the top left corner. I have also tried MASK mode - same results.
however, "Rockchip Batch Tool" worked, but I couldn't find good ROM for "B" and the only one that worked (MinixHFW) didn't have WiFi.

when I try to load any Finless ROM in the "Rockchip Batch Tool" (1.5 or 1.7), it gives me "ERROR: Load Firmware Failed!"
I wonder why it is included with all FInless ROMs, if they don't work together? is there anything I need to do differently?

So, is there a way to flash Finless 1.7 with "Rockchip Batch Tool"?
I would prefer Finless 1.7, as it works the best for me (thank you, Finless_Bob )... However, if there is no way to load with "Rockchip Batch Tool", can anyone suggest a good ROM, preferably with older style bottom bar, that can be loaded via RBTool?

any other suggestions?

BTW, I have all the drivers, and I can flash another MK808B and MK808 without any issue. it's just this one device doesn't want to be flashed.

no, I'm pretty sure I have original... I was able to install finless 1.7 original on other devices identical to this one.

This is the new v5 mk808b with realtek WiFi chip. Most custom roms don't work on it.
