Since the release of rkpatchomatic it shouldn't be a problem to also patch the clone kernels for overclocking.

Dukeofducks is genuine however, like the other one I saw. You can see the wifi chip on his picture.

    Adding more info...

    Just confirmed with factory

    - After X pcs they will mount the old WiFi/BT chip again
    - They did not change more things

This is not good for final customers, if the comunity people makes new ROMs they will not work... or maybe yes

Also, this is the new BACK face of the case:

Maybe here you can see better...

New firmware is also needed. I didn't look under silk, but I guess they also changed something related to the HDMI (maybe even the controller chip).

BTW, the old firmware does not work... some stuck on boot logo, some does not show anything on the screen... I'm going to get the new firmware

It's genuine, but seems to be a new revision. It only has a single antenna, but the wifi is pretty fantastic I might add.

Because of this, i seriously doubt that you will get support for your stick here, sorry.
ok thanks for your help, the MK808 is the nearest i've seen that looks anything like mine. will have to keep looking on the internet .

check out post 81. try the imito mx1 rom. also, if you have the stock rom, (usually can be found online but are obscure if you dont have any good leads. start with mk808.com) that will help too.

if you have one with different firmware, like the newer clones out there, try the rikomagic mk802III rom.

and get rockchip batch tool along with finless bob's rom tool.
