yep, thats what I've got too. Didnt save the original ROM [like an idiot], decided to try a new setup since the original did not always boot successfully - went from Google TV to the Android screen back to Google TV, etc.
now Im stuck with a bricked device.
I have tried all of finless' ROMs 1.6-> 2.1 for original, clone 1 and 2 - no luck.
The nearest I get is with the 2.1 original (and 1.7 original) which install but leaves me without BT and Wifi. Others get stuck with two Penguins top left at boot.
Chip set is MT5931SA, MT6622N
Came with Android 4.2
Help! Think I have tried every rom I could find or so it seems ....
:-(

New Clone?
Bought a "MK808B" from amazon.co.uk
Board does not match anything which has been posted in this thread so far.
Wifi/bluetooth are Mediatek.
Tried flashing Finless 1.7 Clone V1 and Finless 1.7 Sunvel. Now all I have is 2 Linux Penguins on boot.

Help help help...
I am desperatly seeking for solution... I flashed my Mk808B after it wouldn't start. Sadly I didn't do any backup. Now after trying every firmware I can find, it starts but it is impossible to get the wifi and bluetooth running.
From the pictures I've seen there is no one that looks really like mine.
It has only one antenna and no heatsink.
The wifi-chip is Mediatek MT5931 and the Bluetooth-chip is Mediatek MT6622, so from what I read I should flash it with the Sunvell clone #1 firmware. But with no success.
([VonDroid.com]-[VonDroid.com]-ROM STOCK MK808B CLONE #1.zip)
I´ve also tried the clone #2 firmware, the original firmware, finless all firmwares and the cusom firmwares.
The only one I havn't try yet is the most recent ones from this week, but they shouldn't work due to the Mediatek chips...
Anyone have an idea???
Thankful for replies.
/Stefan

I think there is another way to find out if your mk808b is original or clone.
1.install terminal emulator from playstore and open it
2.type su (you must be rooted)
3. type dmesg
From the output scroll down and look for the wifi entries and see if it is rk903 or something else
There are many entries so keep looking to end of the output.
I cannot confirm if this is the conclusive way because i cannot test it as i do not own a clone mk808b.
Those clone owners can you test it and feedback.
