Gathered version Lebreelec for i5 (to run from external SD card, standard stitching remains intact). If you are wishing to try, the image recording can be taken here. To use, you need to activate your universal multiboot (the image has all the files you need, just use the update mode of the standard firmware). After activating multi-boot , you need to uninstall the script aml_autoscript from SD card.

Hello Folks.
I'm looking for the firmware for the inphic i5. All the links to the original inphic.com site are dead here. Can someone point me in the right direction for it. I've been looking for the past few days, had no luck so far.

The inphic.cn website starts off with the i7, no mention of the i5 there..... Any suggestions ?

You're a star Kevin, thanks a million for taking the time out to upload these for me. I was giving up hope, however, I'm like a dog with a bone when it comes to fixing electronic kit, and I wont stop till I know for sure that nothing can be done.

An old friend asked me to try fix this i5, Iv'e fixed many bricked devices over the years so I took on this challenge. I'll read back over this thread to familiarize myself with the process. The unit starts with the 'inphic®' word then gets stuck on the 'loading' screen (with the moving red dots underneath) so I can't access any menus internally. I'm just hoping I don't have a bad logic board here.

l'lI drop back and let you know the results. I'll put the files on Google Drive also and get a fresh tutorial together for future use. I may need to pop back before that to ask a question or two, ;-)

How did you go CAF303? Wondering if it succeeded, and if the files are still available(links now have 404 error) for me to play one day with my old dead one?
