Yes, dirty power is responsible for many tech issues. I often wonder how many devices are made problematic, damaged, destroyed or short-lived because of this. We blame the makers, and sometimes rightfully so, but much blame is due the local power concern. This issue is worldwide.
When I maintained simulators for the military, huge effort and resources went in to providing them with clean, consistent power. Spikes/surges are bad, sags are just as bad, so too dirty(noisy) power. It is eye-opening to watch an o'scope connected to the mains.
People will spend a grand on a fancy PC, AVR or HDTV, come home and plug it all straight to the wall. My rule of thumb, spend at least 10% of the price of the tech, to protect it from the silent killer. A cheap power strip claiming surge protection, is often just a plug strip with a single MOV....this is better, but still wholly inadequate.
Sorry for the rant, but this is a pet peeve of mine.

I understand your concern/remarks but nevertheless the poweradapter is part of the deal. I have no other issues in my house with any other components.
This means this is a very bad power adapter of very poor quality in this case. I expect them to send me a replacement. I am not going to purchase an expensive power adapter with a 25$ media player.
I hope you can agree on that

Good luck, I was just re-advised by Inphic Jim that due to cost cutbacks, they can't send me a board or replacement. They say they can refund me though...I have advised I want a replacement, and again await another reply. Good luck supahfly, but in my case, I keep getting told one thing, then another, and now fobbed off as well.

Re: Faulty goods
I'll send you one to replace your faulty device. Could you tell me what color do you wish and address details to send a new one for you?

Hello Viewer,
I have been reading throughouly this threat and It can be determined that you had acquired a malfuncitoning device, of which you can ask for replacement. But we no longer do it. Otherwise, you will need to place a new order with the money refunded and state yours has been malfunctioning from its very outset.Last edited by INPHIC - Jim; 04 July 2016, 02:46.

Thanks for the reply.
So how do you refund me the money? Inphic /AliExpress have all my info from the 1st order,do you refund via AliExpress? Will the price for the new one be the same as the refunded amount? I need more information to progress this replacement, than what I have now please.Thank you.

At aliexpress website, you will need to open a disupte and choose on an option on the right, its within the red square frame of the screenshot I attached to this post.
Contact with aliexpress assistant and convey the reason of the dispute. Say it's for replacement and talk about shipping cost. That should do it.

I tried that last week, as we were getting no responses from yourself and Inphic.AliExpress said they could not open a dispute, as the time had expired from first sale to when you can open a dispute. The operator told me I had to deal with Inphic direct, but they would inform you that they thought you should replace the faulty item.As they say they can't open the dispute, then what next? Thanks

I tried again to open a dispute as you say, but could not, a copy here of what happened.
I then went on 24/7 chat with AliExpress and they said they will contact you to organise my resolution and get a replacement unit. I showed them your many posts saying you agreed to replace it as you agreed it was faulty. I now await some information of when the unit has been sent. Thanks. You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 1 photos.1 Photo

I anounce by myself that, due to huge loss produced by antecedents of the international department in its quest on to expand market thru many challenges, purchase conditions has been adjusted.
Please, further to this news, if you are going to do any purchase, it's highly advisable to ask about current purchase conditions with any Aliexpress agent/assitant.
Viewer, please refer to our Aliexpress assitant about how to proceed to get your unit replaced.

Thanks INPHIC-Jim...Well, I have done what you asked already. AliExpress have said they have contacted INPHIC for a replacement. So, have you sent one, or is one of your departments awaiting on something I have already done and discussed with AliExpress already? They have told me that they will get INPHIC to replace it. I sit here waiting for it. Would anyone at INPHIC know if it has been sent? Thanks.
