All, in fairness to Inphic, and in particular to Inphic_Jim, I wish to advise that he confirms a replacement unit has been sent to me, and he has provided a tracking number for the item. He has been in contact with me by private message, and as such, I commend him for persuing this on my behalf. I feel it would have been unfair on Inphic, if I did not relay this new information for other users to see, in that they have now come through with their promise. Thank you Inphic_Jim.

You'll need UPDATE&BACKUP app and an external USB storage to do the updating.
Did anyone test it and is it worth installing?
And if so where can I get it?
thanks

Okay I downloaded it and installed it.
So far I can't see that anything has really changed.
I am still unable to run a few core apps that I would like to get going.
Plex - just crashes.
Shaw FreeRange Tv - it starts the shows but about 10-15 seconds in it just starts them over again.
Netflix - it works but it seems like it is expecting to be running on a tablet so tabbing around doesn't work so good and you have to keep switching back and forth to the mouse.
Has anybody had any luck with any of those apps and can offer some advice?

I would like to advise that I received my replacement box from Inphic today, as discussed further up in the thread.
It worked straight away, does not crash, and turns on/off like it should.
Before, when I had the old one,(and before it simply died to a blue light only) , it used to spin an Inphic message around and around. Now it has a "loading" message scrolling as it fires up.
All I have done so far is fire it through a few menu's and some of the iptv that is on it.
Thank you Inphic_Jim for finally fulfilling your promise.

About Plex and Shaw, could you say when does it crash at? We have account for Netflix at the moment.
Netflix still thinks it is running on a phone though so the interface does not function properly.
Shaw FreeRange Tv doesn't actually ever crash it just get about 10-20 seconds in and then restarts.
I think what we need is some way to tell the applications that we are running on a TV box instead of a phone or tablet

Hi - After updating to the Beta firmware - and going through the initial setup and connecting to the WIFI - the rest seems ok except when I go to play store. even after putting all my sign in info, when I launch Play Store it gives me an error ' Error retrieving information from server.[RH-01] ' Clicking retry does not help.
I thought it might be an issue with the internet - however youtube works fine and has my sign in info and all my favorites.
INPHIC - Jim or fellow mates - Can you help ?Last edited by dv8ted; 11 September 2016, 15:35.
