I just discovered some small bugs, but I sent it to Rockchip so it will be fixed in the future.
This week or next week there will be a patch for HPH NT-V6 to use bluetooth headset mic correctly, so finally there is a solution for that problem.
Still doing some tests then it will take a couple of hours to upload the new ROM.
It will now be easier to fix a problem if users report some they come across.

mo123 For the new ROM you will also upload a new kernel and resource files for UGOOS UT3,UT3S? Or the old could be used?

Yes, you can just flash UGOOS 302beta kernel for the fan.
I'm not 100% sure if the fan will work but the resource.img is not overclocked so if the fan doesn't work, it shouldn't cause problems with overheating.
Please report any findings. Can just flash complete ROM again if there are problems.
ROM should work on the UGOOS UT3 without any modifications, but the fan will not work as I mentioned.

Hello mo, thank you for the nice ROM and your hard work. I used the 1.2 on my Beelink R89 with the resource.img from Wasser LP and its wonderfull.
Beelink-Remote works, Passthrough over HDMI works on your Jarvis with DTS-HD, True-HD (no Shutter)

                  Hi

Did you use v1.3 ROM here, the second one Test ROM with Kodi Jarvis or the first one v1.3 Light Biz OS with NTMC?

What audio equipment do you use and what audio settings did you change in Kodi for HD Audio?
It is just for information since some people's audio equipment might not get HD Audio and to see what works best.

or did you use v1.2 ROM in this thread?
I see lots of people post comments in the wrong threads, then it is a bit confusing for me to know exactly what ROM they are using and to troubleshoot a problem

Nagrace is very helpful with support and without them it would be very difficult to fix bugs.

I'm glad my ROM can make your device play videos better.

                    Hi mo,

i use the v1.2 LP ROM from this thread to test and the resources.img from the last Wasser LP.
Kodi is the Stock Rockchip Kodi based on Jarvis 16.0 beta 2
                    My Hardware:
                    Panasonic Full HD Plasma
                    Pioneer VSX 921 AV-HD-Receiver
Beelink R89 on Ethernet-Cable and HDMI.

Set Audio in Android to HDMI-Bitstream and enable Passthough in Kodi with all options (AC3, DTS, DTS-HD, TrueHD).

PVR with my DVBLink-Server works too. I had extract a new PVR-Addon for this from original Jarvis Kodi Beta 4 Android

With this ROM and your Jarvis Kodi i have no problems with PT first time

If you have lots of time can you test another ROM also?

the second one at the bottom of the first post.
It uses another different Kodi Jarvis Beta 5 with a different method of pass-through.
The Kodi will only work on this ROM and not any other ROM.
Please check if pass-through works for you on that ROM.
Better or worse then the ROM and Kodi you use now, any problems?
Netflix will also work on that ROM, which doesn't work on v1.2 ROM you are using now at the moment.
You can also turn it into Light Biz OS with 'Multi Window' in Android Display Settings.
If that Kodi works better then I'll see if I can upgrade that ROM to have all the features of the V1.3 Light Biz OS ROM by mo123

You can flash back to the v1.2 ROM if you have any problems.

@m1pnk: Does it work with 24Hz too (e.g. DTS-HD) or only with 60Hz/fps on your TV?

Hi Mo!! (and everyone else, too!)

(Some off-topic here, you can skip if you're in a hurry)
I've been away for quite some time due to various life circumstances and I'm trying to catch up on all the new developments. The last time I checked in was while you still had the 0.9 LP ROM (I was the last to post in that thread, i believe). Everything since then is new to me, but I have already read all the way through this thread and the light biz thread and I was hoping to ask a few questions. Light biz looks like it might be better for something like my Pipo M9S, but so far I haven't found any LP kernels for M9S and no Pipo RK3288 sources period.

Since I have been around last I finally upgraded to digital surround sound!! I found a really good deal on a used Yamaha RX-V630 and bought it as a gift for me (and my family) for Christmas. Now I have lots of optical spdif's with support for Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES 6.1!

After Christmas I spent a whole bunch of time updating my ADT-1 to the latest PureNexus 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROM (AOSP based) and I can tell you that it is now rockin'!! That ROM is a very solid release. It also addresses many of the short comings of the ADT-1 which I have received harsh criticism for pointing out from various members here and on the various android tv google+ communities. I think possibly some of my rantings at the die-hard "Android TV" (molly, nexus, and shield) fanatics who cannot see the flaws right beneath their noses may have done a bit of good. That or enough other people working on those projects finally wised up and made some changes for the better. If anyone has a device supported by the PureNexus project, I highly recommend that you check it out! One great feature is multi-player gaming and TV control with non-nexus gamepads! Their sources look like an excellent, well structured starting point for anyone looking for something fresh to start with for porting. (no I am not part of that project nor do I receive any personal gain by saying good things about them). I think they are starting to look like the next AOKP or Cyanogenmod of official Android TV sources.

Sorry about the Off Topic! I promise to try stay closer from this point on!

Back to RK3288-land, I still use my R89 on a semi-daily (mostly daily) basis and was thinking about updating. One thing which I wanted to check before testing a lollipop build is the AV-out. I know that you probably are annoyed with me for constantly dragging up support for this (Mo!). :-D I don't blame you if you are, but it is a fact that the TV which I use my R89 on is not HD. I have one HD 46" LED TV and I leave my ADT-1 there because I don't use it often.

I do use my R89 w/ an RCA 27" NTSC TV. Yes, I know that this is sub-optimal, but it will remain a fact for some time. So how is the av output support on your LP releases? I can deal with using a 720p kernel so long as everything fits on the screen properly. I know one release I tried awhile back left some things not fitting the screen due to font sizes and such. Currently I'm having great success in KK with A/V out.

Aside from that, I am curious about which ROM you would recommend for me. I would be glad to help out testing various kernels for you to check pass-thru for my particular gear if that would be useful! Just let me know. The optical out is not a 100% necessity for me at the moment bc the RX-V630 is in the living room with my 46" LED.

Keep in mind, though, that I do often bring my R89 into the living room to use because I prefer it over the ADT-1 and in most aspects find it superior.

So which ROM is best? Here is my checklist:

                            Working A/V output (Solid!)
Working Optical Pass-Thru (Not 100% necessary)
                            Best combination of speed/performance/quality
                            Most functional UI
Overall smooth playback of HD (incl. 4K streams)
                            Good 3D for gaming
                            Last but not least, STABLE!!

I do not necessarily have to be on 5.0+, either. If you think that the kitkat 1.7 build fits my needs better please do say so and I will greatly appreciate it. I am currently on your 1.3 KK, or maybe 1.5? With a kodi build which was 16.0 ALPHA 2 or something like that (really pre 15.2 i think). (Build Number is "Nexus 10", device name "NEXUS 10@1214149", version 4.4.2) Maybe v1.5 or v1.6 was when I got the A/V port issues...

Currently everything is working nearly great aside from some problems with multiple seek and Kodi crashes. Really I'm in a good place with it and often leave it powered up for days without issues.

If anyone has a suggestion of other ROMs which I should consider please post them or PM them to me. I am open to trying other ROMs, but every single time I have tried another ROM for my R89 I have come back to Mo's ROMs. They always seem to have the best mix of speed, picture/sound quality, stability, and features for me (without the bloat!).

Maybe this post would have been better off as a PM to Mo123 or a thread unto itself, but I decided to post it here bc I believe that it will attract more casual traffic here and some (all?) of my questions might help someone else out there and keep from repeating the same questions.

Thanks for all your hard work, Mo! It always shows! I'm looking forward to responses. Please let me know if testing my specific gear with pass-thru would be helpful.

Cheers! It's great to be back! LOL (Sorry about partly boosting the thread. Hopefully the replies will mostly be on topic ;-)
