Trebor, that file is a complete image for flashing. We are going to release a BETA update, you can try to upgrade by this way first (it should be good if someone here can do it before official OTA release)

Changelog will be available soon (26 changes)

Hello kevin1341, I copied this from another AML box, but it should work for you...
"In the above photo, the part 1 is showing the firmware you just loaded, and please note, if you see the part 2 error (mac 0), Please follow the step 4, if NOT, just ignore and see the step 5.

4) Download this file to your computer, unzip it, and copy the whole folder which is called" License" and then go to your "USB Burning tool" Installation directory, For example, if you put the USB burning tool in C:/ Program Files(X86)/Amlogic/USB_Burning_Tool/, paste the "license" folder you just download, and replace the existing one, and then repeat the step 3."

Here it is the changelog for new Spot i7 firmware

1. MoboPlayer2 after few seconds playing local TS format files of MPEG-1 decoder, slows down to no response with no sound, fixed.
2. Playing any 4k movie resource, always blurs all over on big sized screen, is fixed.
3. MXplayer at playing a local file, slows down to no response displaying no image, is fixed.
4. ottall-1.1-release.apk package at playing from network never stops loading, fixed.
5. MPEG2 DASH streaming does not work, is fixed.
6. Mediabench at playing RTSP H265 files exalts the system, and video frame freezes is apparent, fixed.
7. While playing streaming online, synced is wrong apparently, fixed.
8. Playing H256 movie files, the screen turns black, fixed.
9. Watching direct streaming at changing channel, displays blurring horizontal strips, fixed.
10. Playing TRUE-HD by HDMI Passthrough, sound stops and frames slow down to no response, which resolves Decode off error message, fixed.
11. Screen shooting and screen recording functionalities crash Media Server, fixed.
12. GPU optimization.
13. Added Widevine L1 Patch (new feature).
14. Added HLS support (new feature).
15. OMX playing streaming movies online, from 1080p to 4K, the movie frame can be covered up/hidden by an OSD superposed layer, fixed.
16. Playing online, some movies do not resume from pause to play, fixed.
17. Connecting external Hard Drive, only shows no more than 10 Megabytes of total capacity, fixed.
18. Added multy compatibility for Wifi modules (new feature).
19. Playing 4KH265 HSL displays black screen, is fixed.
20. System crashes at playing any games right after high CPU performance activity, fixed.
21. After playing other movie on HDMI Passthrough sequentially, voice channel does not work, fixed.
22. Screen resolution does not resize after changing AV composite video to HDMI while playing a movie, fixed.
23. Unable to play MP4 HLS streaming, fixed.
24. Built-in HLSV5 streaming .vtt subtitles format does not display, fixed.
25. Booting up process time optimized.
26. Yomvi crash issue fixed.

To burn the firmware, try to check the option "OVERWRITE KEY".
