Official Ugoos firmwares for devices based on rk3368

Hi Serega and Team & all Readers,

here are a Report about the Bugs i found.The Device is STOCK and until now i haven't activated Root or installed one App.


1. If i plug a SDcard with Data on it (Fat32) in the Slot it's mounts but only shows 0B/free/0B/used and unmounts after about 30 sec.After Reboot the Card is not able to mount and can not be mounted over

Settings/Storage.Even after wiping the Card ,the System could not mount the Card.Only unplugging and re inserting the Card made it mount ,but still 0B/0B shows up.Controlling the Card on Pc showed that

the Data wasn't wiped.


2. If i plug a SDcard with Data on it (exFat) in the Slot it makes the same ,if it mounts it shows 0B/0B ,even after Reboot no mount.Only after wiping ,the Card showed up correct and it was possible to

unmount and mount again several times.But when i took the Card to Pc ,the Name of the Card and on the Card self ,had strange China Signs and Folders on it.Look the Pictures it was after i wiped the

Card.

Now i activate Root and test once more.


1. A SDCard without Data (Fat32) mounts and unmounts without any Problem.With Data same as before no mounting.With (exFat) a empty Card it mounts even after a Reboot not.Only with a

SDcardreader plugged to USB it works for both Format with and without Data.Once or twice the SDCard with Data (Fat32) was shown as empty Card in SDCard Settings.

Now the Read Error Bug : a SDcard with Data can not be opened with the UGOOSFileexplorer it says "ReadError Please check this file is readable or exist !" the same with (exFat).


I found another Translation Error in Gamepad Settings.Look.





if you can see stands under "Gerät" Usb composite Device but twice ,one Time is enough or not ? In German "USB Verbundgerät" the same must be changed in the Pop up Menu.

Same under LANGUAGE & INPUT PYSICAL KEYBOARD ,not tchip_remote_key in German it must "TCHIP Drahtlos-Schlüssel" and as before "USB Verbundgerät" not Usb Composite Device.

It looks like that the EQUALIZER BASSBOOST Bug still exist ,still not possible to change the Bassboost Level.



Now i want to install the SDFix.apk and test once more.


After i insert a Card with Data (Fat32) into the Slot the Card was shown in Storage ,but with wrong value (empty).A Reboot brought back the same 0B/0B Bug as before.

The UGOOSFileexplorer and StorageSettings says still the same (ReadError) if you want to access the Card.


Then i plugged the Card in without Data (exfat) ,the Card not even mounted and could not be mounted over Settings.Same with Data ,even after a Reboot no mount.But no "ReadError"

poped up.Only after wiping the Card i was able to unmount and mount again even after a Reboot the Card was still good.


It is not possible to use the SDCard Slot and that is bad.This is all first i hope that Ugoos can fix it.And what about XPOSED Installer and TWRP Recoverry we all like it.


First that's all and i report if i find more.

i know that i translated the Path strings to

storage/emulated/legacy = Speicher/emuliert/Systemerbe

/external_sd = /externe_sd

/usb_storage = /usb_speicher

This strings are not translated. They show system paths for external and internal storages.


"Usb Composite Device Usb Composite Device" it is name of your keyboard and mouse, which gave them their manufacturer. This cannot be translated.
"tchip_remote_key" it is name of virtual device. This also cannot be translated.

About SD card. Very strange. Try reinsert sd card many times. And try NTFS file system.
Also try 1.1.1 or earlier Ugoos firmware or not Ugoos firmwares.

i only wanted to show all and of course i can send it as before.What you say is not correct i translated it in 1.1.3 strings.I upload a Picturre in the Thread ,so you can see it ,but i do not exactly know

if i sending it to you or only the Pictures and txt Files ,but you are able to translate it now.For Tchip remote i not sure but look for.

The Bug with SDCard exist on 1.1.3/1.1.4 and the two last FW from Mo.

i tried NTFS it makes the same Results,not usable ,no mout with Data and after wiping my free Space was double not 14.45 it was 28.90.

I can not belief that i am the only UT4 User with SDCard Problems ????

Are you not make things and sometimes after you done it you see how it can be a little bit better ??? That's what i did.

I am Human and not perfect.

Rom or a ROM was not build in one Day.

Will there be Updates for UT3 too ,and what about Xposed and TWRP as Stock Recovery for UT4 i really think that the Users like that.

I saw LibreElec for the AM Serie will it come for RK3288/3368 ???

Updates for UT3 - Ugoos always provide updates, sometimes just a little patience.
TWRP - Already available for RK3288/RK3368, just search in freaktab or Google. There are also instructions to build your own ones.
Xposed Frameworks - This requires Marshmallow firmware to work. It should be available after RK3399 is released with Marshmallow then Marshmallow can be backported to other devices later on.
Libreelec not possible on RK3368 since manufacturer of the GPU have no interest in releasing Linux drivers for it.
Rockchip is working on Linux support for RK3368 but it will only be done next year.
There is already Linux firmware for RK3288 that you can install on UT3 with working Linux Kodi and video acceleration, look in Firefly forum for such firmware.
In future it might be adapted more for UT3 and improved by Ugoos I think.
I think it is still better to use Android Kodi as you can also use other Android functions.

It will be a good idea.
But I think if TWRP is used as the recovery then OTA firmware updates won't be able to install and cause problems then, I'm not sure.

first of all with 1.1.1 i had the same Results nothing diffrent ,i tried a RKM Rom for a MK68/160822 but it did not boot even with r&k of latest Ugoos.

Mo you are right didn't remind that ,but this can maybe change by programming or not ??? Latest CWM will be okay too...

You can have 2 recoveries, but it is very technical and hard work to implement something like that if less than 5 people are going to use it and will take a lot of time.

I will test the SDCard of some different devices.
I remember I also saw the SDCard not being mounted, I think it is a bug in all RK3368 only but not sure about RK3288, RK3229.

I think 99% of people just use the internal storage or connect a USB hard drive or flash drive, using a micro SD-Card is not something people need to use or want to buy extra.
I will get Marshmallow for RK3229 soon then I can test the micro-SD card also there.
Maybe I will find out what causes the problem in the next few days then it can be used for Lollipop also.
