This rom still uses the older kernel.img for the t428 without camera support and does not include cwm. I will make modifications and post alternate img for users who want latest and greatest + cwm for rom backup. Thanks for replacing boot.img for me!

the good developers have realized the big nonsense you've done, don't ruin yourself alone.

And if the the video jitter problem is present also in the rom posted by me with the sdk2, this mean that the problem is in the mali gpu code inside the kernel. (for sure)

mali related kernel source code (that we don't have) + libMali.so (that we don't have)

in a second moment i can explain all, and very well. Now please test my rom. and do not write nonsense.

If kernel is in boot.img then the stand alone kernel.img will not be used! I think this was where the confusion is.

thanks BOB. you understand. but the standard kernel of T428 can't work with system.img of original cube sdk 2 without the mali related changes. at least for this sdk2 cube rom.

so if we still have the problem of video jitter, we know where it resides (and we can't solve, because this code is private)

please bob, can you test my last cube sdk2 rom to be sure ? I have to be super sure if there is the problem or not

Lol, this is exactly what I am talking about. You have seriously put yourself on a high horse here considering this a rom that all you have done is copy and paste other peoples work together (cube), you need to take a break from the internet and go and get some fresh air if you get this frustrated over a rom.

Having tried, tested t428_cube_sdk2.0

Video is not good stutters. Wifi, bluetooth is great. USB hub is not working and I was terribly hot, burn.

Thanks for clarifying, I do find it intersting that using strauoz latest pipo rom (just stock) that cameras dont work at all. But replacing kernel.img and leaving the same boot.img fixed it for me, so guess that means kernel isnt in boot img like the cube rom! But like I said the one I am putting together will have a more options for other users including the latest and greatest of boot and kernel.img and cwm plus some oc kernel options (if they even work considering kernel is in boot.img). Its not meant to be anything special just another options for users who have same needs as me

Disappointing will have to wait for pipo sdk2.0 rom and see what they can do next!

Boot.img with kernel inside not use kernel.img, like Bob says. It is a fact. Maybe this pipo rom has a boot without kernel embedded.

I will try this rom later today and give you my observations. I am about ready to give up hope for this device.

Installed this rom, but screen was dithering too much. I am running this device through an HDMI switch and then through my A/V receiver, so that is the cause of this problem. All the other versions except the June 1 official rom had the same problem and I had to run the HDMI cable straight to the tv. Even though you would like some feed back on the video quality, I chose not to reroute the HDMI cable back to the tv. I will wait for others to make their observations. I guess I am waiting for the holy grail of roms. The part I don't understand is that my other android device MK818B running JB 4.1, works flawlessly. It is only a dual core and 1 gig of memory. Progress is being made, the wireless and ethernet are working fantastic, I am able to go through my A/V receiver, it does not crash, the web browsing is fast and everything loads fast. The only thing I would like to see is my Logitech 310 webcam and mic to be able to work, and Netflix. You guys are working to improve the video quality, so I guess it won't be much longer then this device will be capable of doing what it should.

How did you gather that from a post titled "Having tried, tested t428_cube_sdk2.0" lol. Ive tested your new cut and paste rom and it still has frame skipping like other users are saying, but maybe we are just too noob to test properly.
