where can we found this new rom ?

First post. The last pipo rom.

At first start use rotation locker. This is an experimental rom.

So I have been testing for the past few days since making the changes to wifi and it seems to solid - haven't seen 1 disconnect since! So cheers! How hard would it be for users who are interested to permanently lock the orientation system wide for this rom? I have tried to find directions on how to do this myself and have only been able to figure out how to do it on a per app basis (by editing androidmanifest.xml in the apk) - would love to have the UI locked on mine even if it screws up certain apps.

Is the Pipo ROM any better at video? I found little difference between it and stock 4.2 on the Cx919.Also,is Cwm working? I can reboot to Cwm but none of my selection buttons work?

Im using a slightly different setup then the stock pipo rom strauzo had posted, I posted a link in the earlier pages of this thread with the hwcomposer.rk30board.so ive been using (pulled it from the stock 4.2.2 rom released in april) - and with that video playback is near perfect for me, I see hardly any jittering or stuttering but I am also only playing 720p mkvs so I cant speak on 1080 playback. You might wanna give tht file a try if youre having issues. CWM works perfect for me also with my logitech k400

The last rom that have the best video performances of all other roms for rk3188 also in xbm libstagefright version.

the hwcomposer.rk30board.so is another story and is for cube rom in first post. Please
alwaysbless don't confuse other people.

In the cube rom we have changed this component because the mali drivers are different in the original cube rom. but it is not necessary to change it in the other rom and specially in the pipo modified rom.

Ahh, ok thanks. The bluetooth and Wifi don't work with the CX919 and this Rom and I don't know how to port it.

I'm considering going back to my MK809 until the RK3188s are fixed, it was slow but played flawlessly and had true 1080p.

infact this rom is for T428. But other developers with others devices like the CX919 or MK802 IV can easly swap the wifi drivers and add all the bluetooth things to have the some rom on different devices.

follow my previous posts to understand how to port bluetooth and wifi. (only for developers or for those who want to learn)

Who was I confusing? and how? the guy said it wasnt providing him with any increased performance so I posted a link to a second file he can try? nothing confusing about that - and this thread is all about experimental firmwares so why not post an alternative? it def has increased performance for me

yes, but changing the file hwcomposer.rk30board.so in the pipo modified rom is useless(indeed it can create problems), made sense only in the rom of the cube. I do not change things without a reason and everything has a logical.

try the last pipo rom, and you understand that all is perfect about video performances.

also the wifi and bluetooth is good for me. we need only found the way to mount hdd with multiple partitions.

for now in this rom you can mount only one partition from an external usb hdd.

The videos are excelent, but i think you have made many strange and not usefull tests.

Read the review of nixzero in the previous posts. And reinstall only the update.img

LOL, im not try to insult your work in anyway so dont feel offedned. But, the hwcomposer.rk30baord.so I am using offers ME better video performance, and thats just the bottom line. I haven given all of your stuff a fair test but it just does not give me the same performance that you say you have. If I have the time later I will make a video just for you showing the laggy playback and then the performance of the one I am using. And to be fair, the only person who saying it works perfectly is you , the other guy said it has the LEAST STUTTERING of any rom he has tested (so there is still stuttering and he may not have tested many roms). There are just as many users saying that it didnt fix anything. You should really get more feedback from other users before you start thinking you have perfected video playback and everyone else who says otherwise is a "noob"

Mine was pulled from the stock t428 rom, not the stock cx919 rom so they are different files - unless you flashed the stock (4/27/2013) t428 rom to your cx919? For me UI performance is not the issue with either files it works perfectly, but video playback is a different story. It should still work on yours though considering the cx919s roms hwcomposer file worked on the t428. But maybe not? only way to test is to try

It's absolutely ridiculous these sticks can't play video smoothly, the rk3188 is such a powerful processor.
