Dear friends, I do not want thanks and even money. I can do lots of others improvements in many others directions, but I want only one thing, an answer to this question.

There will be someone in the world who knows how to answer this question ?

    http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post77131
I think the only one who can answer or communicate with those guys is Eric from Geekbuying.
I pm'ed him about this thread and I hope he steps in here.

Strauzo, there is nothing wrong with getting money for a cappuccino or a Peroni!

Hi, I wanted to be on all my tests, finally :

        cx919_422_finless14 + "strauzo-kernel-video-bluetooth-standby" in the Tronsmart T428 :

        video " h264_1080p_hp_4.1_40mbps_birds.mkv " : 8/10 ( video player natif ) ( film in SD card ext )

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        cx919_422_finless14 + "strauzo-kernel" in the Tronsmart T428 :

        video " h264_1080p_hp_4.1_40mbps_birds.mkv " : 9/10 ( video player natif ) ( film in SD card ext )

No bluetooth, does not work, for me, I do not need.

I'll stick with this configuration, for the moment.

        ---

        PS : I tested the finless 1.5 + "strauzo-kernel-video-bluetooth-standby" :

        video " h264_1080p_hp_4.1_40mbps_birds.mkv " : 5/10 ( video player natif ) ( film in SD card ext )

... I have tried flashing the finless 1.5a rom with your latest kernel and it boots fine so I know my download isn't corrupt. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a good T428 rom I can use that has USB audio support?

          Thanks!
I can confirm with Tronsmart update 5.1. Boot in recovery. Thank to you Strauzo, good job! I tried with nexus 6 but video freeze but running super. I do not like anyway nexus 6.
T428 ,Radxa Rock (RR), cs918s v1.0, waiting for my X7...

            compare rom is not necessary.

in the coming days, I will take the best rom SDK2 from tablets and will make a new Nexus rom.

i call this rom Nexus only to underline my intent, remove chinese strange code from the source code of Android

and if I find some rom higher, but I do not think, I will remove the chinese stuff from inside and i will publish.

the development of tablet is much ahead of mini pc, this is a fact.

pipo, with new rom have already solved the netflix problem. don't worry. for now you can use the xposed framework + netflix plugin. (read in other threads about xposed framework)

The netflix problem is not a real problem, but the rom in wich don't work not are yet google widevine drm compatible.

only some Chipset Vendors are allowed, but rockchip are in the list and with new tablet firmwares for rk3188 add this functionality which will also serve many other things.

If the roms are not google sdk compatible, like the "chinese roms" of our hdmi sticks, many apps from google play can't work well. For that reason i don't want chinese code inside the rom or rom not google compatible. Many people don't undertand this, but all android developer yes. For that reason many google play apps developer hate the android hdmi sticks, and don't optimize the app for this device. cause the chinese android.

many developers consider shit these devices for this reason.

is not convenient to anyone that the Chinese rom survive, nor for the sellers, nor for the developers nor for the users who have app not working

if we continue to put patches on these devices, we will end to make them explode

the only alternative is to start using Android rom 100% compatible with google sdk

even if I do not write English well I hope I did understand my point of view and that of many other developers I know

Sv: T428 Study and Research on Experimental Firmwares

Am I correct in understanding that this only works fully for the T428?
For other sticks it will make either WiFi or BT or both unusable?
Let's hope it is possible to build a kernel for the CX919 as well.

PS. Quite a lot of other forums (threads here even) are not aware that the stutter solution has been found. Maybe someone should enlighten them. :-)

It would be helpful to the community to have some description of what you've done, maybe even your modified source files and a config... Many hands make light work. I will share any of my info with anyone who wants it, at any time - I don't need the credit, I just want the problem fixed for everyone.
If my work benefits you and you want to help out the cause, feel free to

I already shared in the first post the first 1080p kernel, the first kernel for ubuntu with wifi working, many roms and suggestions. Cwm recovery etc..read all the thread.

Now i want share, but i request only one stupid question.

I paid to have the T428, where is the support ?

I quite understand your beef with the factory/Tronsmart/Rockchip - but please don't hold those of us with 908s or 919s hostage too long!

Maybe you can divulge your secret to Bob alone, who could doubtless cook a 908 kernel with your code still hidden? We don't need the inner workings - just a working end-product for these other sticks.

                        Comment

I am making progress with mk908 kernels, and will look into the 2 files strauzo mentioned earlier. And to strauzo: a kernel helps me not, but a .config would.

I have reached the point where my dmesg is very clean.. and some decent progress on video jitter. Either way, I can make functional mk908 kernels and would love to be as helpful as possible. And believe it - if I fix it the first thing I'll do is post all pertinent info so others can work on it too.

And honestly I know when I buy these tv sticks support from the supplier will be nonexistant.

                            i don't have external usb audio. i can't test.

try playng with this modules and lib. https://mega.co.nz/#!w0QkxaBa!JxX3Pl...S5MmSCW1fZWKhw

are not mine but should work

follow the logic of an cwm update but copy the files manually and load the modules manually. copy also the library in the right folders.

                            play a little.
                            Thanks Strauzo,

I added these modules and loaded them using insmod via a script in init.d and now the USB audio device is detected (using finless 1.5a I can now see the entry in sound devices manager) but sadly no sound plays though the device.

I will see if I can extract the usb audio modules from the tronsmart rom tomorrow.

Will the strauzo kernel not work on other sticks? As far as I was aware you could swap the kernels around and it would only be the bluetooth and wifi that wasn't working?

Yes, you can boot your 908 with a Strauzo kernel but without wifi you're not going to the party/ Most of us are either on NAS or Navi-X or both...
