I bought my QBOX from Tablet Express on **** for $62.95 with free shipping and got it in 6 days. This box is a bargain for the money...works real smooth so far. Best remote i have got in any of my droid boxes. It works with my air mouse and cheap ($4.99) wireless batman mouse. Probably the best thing about it is that it streams beautiful 4K movies!

I bought one of these boxes just waiting on it to arrive can you tell me what minor issues you found with the firmware, I take it the hardware and build quality are OK from what I read about it.

If you look at my review i list the issues there. Some app issues and kodi pre loaded and update app crap best to just blow them away and install latest stable or rk kodi.

Holes are always a welcome addition. Though they must be very expensive, based on the lack of them provided on most boxes.
Putting a few on the bottom(outside the circular foot) should improve ventilation even more(flow-thru).

them holes sure are useful, i drilled them on both sides, but only posted photo of this side as on the other side i'm afraid they're not as neat. but you know, you always get it better the second time. i will check what difference they make, temperature wise, with these info apps out there.

Yes, mine are not always the neatest either, but I am a function over form guy. I don't spend much time looking at these devices, but I am a freak when it comes to electronics and heat. So I believe in reducing heat, even if I had no heat-related problems with the device. I thermally mod every box I like.

BTW, I think you did a pretty nice job on the holes. Drilling holes on a curved surface is always a challenge. Having them on both sides should promote flow-thru, so good job.

so, is there really no one here who can have a go at finding out what action/activity or whatever it it that makes the lights only work with the original sunvellwin8 launcher and only while in home screen of that launcher and then maybe do something so that it works with other launchers, like a shortcut to an activity that controls these led lights! i looked around this rom, launcher apk, decompiled it but i am not that versed in this matter so i couldn't figure it out! hopefully someone out there will!
