I also noticed the screen scale, in any resolution (from 1080p 24 to 4K 60). It doesn't fit exactly to my TV boarders.
I also played with the build.prop ( change the density and ro.default.size but nothing happened ).

For 3D files, can someone test with SPMC and Kodi 17 links I posted previously?
If possible can someone post a short 3D clip where there is a problem then I can test?
Might not be possible to fix the 3D problem soon but with more info it should be easier to identify where the problem is.


New NTMC v16.1.3 released in the Marketplace app.

- [Setting]: add f4v support
It's best to make a backup of your NTMC setup with the backup addon in Programs menu and then restore it in the new NTMC.
It's also possible to just upgrade NTMC but starting clean always works the best and fixes problems.
Also disable 'Enable mpeg1/2' under the NTMC menu if there are problems with mpeg2 playback, but I haven’t seen any.

Not yet, everything will work except the HDMI-IN.
I will see if it is possible to add it in a different ROM, but it's complicated.
You can use the latest Ugoos firmware that has it enabled.

No worries, it was just a 'nice to' have ! Which version of the Ugoos firmware should I pick ?

NTMC/RKMC still work the best if considering all the features like pass-through, auto frame-rate and RKCodec(which works better than Mediacodec) that work better on Rockchip devices.
Do 5 second pause when doing frame-rate switching work the best for you or a different value?

You can go to the Nagrace Market app and download the latest NTMC, please uninstall it and all other Kodi's first for best results.
It will be version v16.1.3
It has the latest [RKCodec]: Optimize codec and render performance change added.


I also fixed the black screen in ES File Manager but have not uploaded it yet.
I would recommend people use a different file manager like MiXplorer that don't contain so much adware and use much less space.

I tested on 1080p/720p@60hz and it remembers the screen scale setting after reboot.

I will also test a different screen scale setting I added yesterday and see if it works.

Does it look like the screen scale is off by just 1 setting eg. looks like 98-99% instead of 100% fullscreen?

I tried that and since there was no change i then try to change the build.prop.
I change ro.default.size from 100 to 101, 102, 98, 95 and reboot every time but again nothing changed.

Correct. It looks like a 1% or 2% off.

I also tested the other versions of kodi from your posts and in H264 all played the same good and with Passthrough ok. When it comes to H265 the winners are NTMC & RKMC, all the others either freeze or green lines.

I will download tomorrow the new version of NTMC with a clean install and test it.

Hello, Is this firmware working with the hph 4Gb/32gb with only 1 hdmi out?
I d'like to update my firmware because for few weeks my Nagrace lag, the mouse cursor lag and when I lauch an app, it freeze and it lag. Sometime I also have problem with Play store that crash when I make a search...
I reset the Nagrace and even with no app installed, It lag and playstore crash...
If you can help me...
