hm... must say that i know about theory, as i'm just received it. so, i just want to hear from you, users, which fw you find ok. 422 as newest, finless's 411/422, combo finless+another kernel. nothing else.

i hooked up a logitech C270 and was able to make a picture with it with a app named: Cymera.
A dutch supermarket app called: Appie works with the cam (can't focus on the barcode but does work).
Skype works also, wifi transfer app Superbeam works like a charm.
only thing i am missing is the original camera app.

you can start the camera app tru contacts and edit a contact, then add picture and choose camera.
the native camera app starts but there is no image the camera doesn't start.

i can't use netflix as it is not available in croatia. so, that segment is not of my interest.
xbmc is nearer to that what i'm using it. there is no some dedicated purpose of it. i have tablets, another box, so, this is just to add it to my tv and to check mail, see a movie before bedtime. really nothing special.

sorry,but i can't give you more focused answer. i uderstand what do you mean, but...

i'll take a ride for a couple of day as is, and then i'll try few different roms, kernels... just to find by myself. probably that is best solution.

Bluetooth Keyboard issues

I am trying to using the same Motorola keyboard that I use with my tablet on my CX919 running Finless 4.2.2. I have a couple of issues, first, the keyboard will not auto connect - if I power cx-919 down, re-power it, bluetooth is on but will not connect with the keyboard. I have to go to settings, bluetooth, then select the keyboard to get it to connect. Second, the "enter" key will not select an item in the launcher. So, if I use arrow keys to highlight an app, then hit the enter key - nothing happens. Both of these work fine on my tablet (running JB 4.2 as well). Any ideas?

could you please explain how did u manage to get connect to computer? everytime i plug into computer usb slot it does not recognized the device. i tried pressing the button and insert usb cable into computer it just does not recognize any device.

Thank for your help. It's OK now but I had to use different driver than finless folder.

So now just two problem :

- when I connect Bluetooth micro I can't use Google now or anything that use mic. I use kernel on page 7 can it change something ?

- someone achieve to use droid mote ? I read that uinput must be enable but I don't know if it's OK on CX 919.

1) If you've read all threads you know as much as anyone.
2) Don't fix what's not broken. If your current setup works without problems use that. With 3188 not everything is smooth sailing.
3) You have only stated that you have read as much as anyone and that your current setup is working, but we know nothing of your requirements, which is what you should have written about instead of the other parts.

I'd use T428 nexus ROM with SDK 2.0 and the MK908 kernel.

Please post relevant information in the future.

So are you saying that the t428 nexus rom works for cx-919? Even BT and wifi? Cause the work by strauzo seems amazing and I would definitely like to try it!

Hi, i have a Little Problem with my HDD and a Docking Station. If i plug in a USB Stick it gets mounted without any Problems and i can use it to Play movies etc... Than i tried my 2TB HDD to put it in a Docking Station with integrated USB HUB. I can use the USB Hub for a mouse etc and it works, but the HDD which is connected via mini USB dont get mounted. It is formated in NTFS, but my USB sticks which i put directly in the stick are also NTFS... is there an idea? TY

Just tried again to mount a HDD in a docking station and it looks like this just dont work... Maybe someone has some experience? I have a 3.5" 2TB HDD in a Docking station with mini USB connected to the cx919 and the stick dont realize that there is an USB Space to mount. Its strange that the USB ports on the docking station are working, so i can plug in usb sticks or mouse and the stick can mount it...

Rly strange, maybe somebody has an idea, would be so nice to get my HDD up and running.

that dock stations have power cable? if not, stick probably doesnt have sufficient power to move the disc 3.5
