You are doing an incredible job! I had many many problems with KODI 17, while FTMC works amazigly well with my device. I have 2 questions:
1. How can I donate?
2. Can I install an FTMC update on top of the old version without loosing my settings and addons?

If you are using FTMC older before the Patch from SPMC all you have to do is goto Menu Videos/Files/Add videos.../Browse/UPnP devices click on UPnP and you either get a list of available UPnP Server or nothing if there are none.
The SPMC Patched FTMC you do the same thing and when you click on UPnP nothing happens, While it is highlighted you can click OK this will bring up the add option but when you goto save it complains that Unable to connect " Couldn't retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Whould you like to add it anyway? Click Yes and it adds it to the sources.xml file
and you still have to go back to setting and Enable UPnP support before you can connect to any UPnP servers.
After enabling UPnP support the UPnP option disappears from the Videos/Files/Browse
It has always worked by just going to Videos/Files/Browse/UPnP devices Before the SPMC Patch that added Airplay to the Setting/Services Menu
Kodi still works this way also RKMC still works this way only SPMC and FTMC seem to be Broken.

So you anwsered your own question use Rkmc then...if thats your must have thing... Its been explained to you thats the way it is.....Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.
