Hi Lin,
Welcome from your holidays !!!
Yeap, I just was looking for a nice specs item, S905, 2GB/16GB, WiFi 2G/5G, and so on, but I never suspected so bad support from manufacturer. I was confident with Gearbest products. In fact Tronsmard S95 Meta has less memory (8GB) but much better firmware and performance, and they provide solutions like the "Force RGB" option to solve our problem.
I'm an engineer of telecom, and I know basic design with S905 is provided by AmLogic, so your manufacturer did not do so much work, just implement de Amlogic pre-design with NO support.
Current firmware from MXQ Pro+ manufacturer is a true ... (I don't want to be rude with my words, excuse me), system hangs on when power off, freezes, wrong RGB/YCrCb implementation (maybe also base firmware was provided by Amlogic too, with this issue), wrong Play Store support (now seems to be corrected, thanks to Lin!!!) ...
You should remove this item from your store instead of promoting!!!
On the other hand, I suppose you (your manufacturer) will not provide a decent firm, am I right?
I already tested Tronsmart firmware and is really cool, compared with MXQ Pro+ (my first purchase to Gearbest but I felt so frustrated!!!). That's why I prefer Tronsmart.
I'm right now working on FPGA systems for stereovision like this:
Just now with TMDS Encoding for DVI/HDMI output. I knew what I mean when I requested you for YCrCb solution.

So it looks like you've given up then... I have 4 of these ordered from you gearbest, I'll be returning all 4 of them I think (£120(ish)), it's a shame that the hardware is there, but the support is not, it's not like much has been asked for is it! People haven't asked for Additional Features as such, we simply want it fully working from the Manufacturer rather than going and flashing all sorts of community driven roms! (Which we SHOULD NOT have to do...)
Please confirm that you've given up trying to get sense out of the Manufacturer and I will decide what I'll do with mine.
Regards, Adam.

I haven't given up and I am still collecting the feedback and then will forward them.
I said that because I think this cheap tv-box has led to many problems and complains. So I don't wish people get involved and hurt.
If you would like to return them, then just do it. And if you get troubles with it, just contact me and I will do my best.
I am still doing my job. don't worry. it just takes some time.

Thanks for your profession and your effort. but I don't know too much about this technical terms

Hi Adam,
We all see Lin has not given up these products, but Gearbest should remove them from store, because it has no quality due to so poor support service.
If you test the SD-Robot firm which is a Tronsmart S95 Meta version with MXQ Pro+ loader (indeed it shows Tronsmart S95 in information section) you will notice Tronsmart firm is far, far, far away from MXQ Pro+.
I think the pity support team from our great tv boxes wil never reach the firmware quality from Tronsmart. But Lin can't do anymore.
If you want these boxes just for freaking, it's all right, but if you want a fully functional TV Box you should drop them anyway.
Maybe we will see next S912 boxes after summer end.
Best regards,
Alex from Spain

Hi Lin,
It's easy, there is other thread explaining the process. Same process as with img file but with modified firm from SD-Robot, and including an ini file into AUBT folder.
Just have a look to this thread: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...586#post577586
Steps:- Download SD-Robot image from https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5pvW/EFy9DEDxY
- Download AUBT Tool from https://cloud.mail.ru/public/BkCg/GHupABM32
- Download .ini file from https://cloud.mail.ru/public/AfVb/H774W2BUz
- Install AUBT and create folder license into install directory
- Copy mac_ether.ini into license folder
- Flash SD-Robot firmware with AUBT
Thanx to SD-Robot for creating this image!!!!!

There is solution (partial) for pink screen problem on old Philips and Sony TVs....on MXQ PRO+
1) First you need latest SD-ROBOTS firmware.
2) Go to settings/more settings/display and turn on force RGB
3) Display turns to pink - then change input on Tv to some other hdmi input - and then go back...........screen should be back normal.
This fixes pink screen problem until you turn off or reboot your box. Then you must repeat the process.
The setting for "force RGB" is stored in "/sys/devices/virtual/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/rgb_mode" and should be 1.
I tried with ES File explorer to change some attributes to read only, but file is overwritten every time system boots.
Maybe Neomode could help to fix last problem, how to permanently store this setting.
