    Hi Wasser, hi all

    thx for your work.

    Beeling R89B v.3.1 2/16GB

I also installed 4.0.0 over 3.02 with Android Tool 2.3

For the first time Win 7 detected the box as an drive.

Picture over AV, smile, but it is too large.

Cherry wireless mouse works good, i can change the setting and it seems to work.

I open the ES-Explorer to see my ext. HDD or USB-Stick but no setting changes seems to work.

    Lan works good.

Also to testing the box i must adjust the screen.

Installed over the top of the most recent LP ROM with factory tool 1.33 with no issues at all.

Noted that the ROM is not rooted, so would like to know the best tool to use to root.

No HDMI or SPDIF passthrough options available.

Box detected by PC as a storage device by default (no option to select type i.e. MTP, Mass storage etc ) but nothing available when you look at it and no data can be written to it.
Just found the option in Developer options, which is not where I expected it to be (now called Select USB Configuration)
Changing to PTP does enable access to DCIM and Pictures.

All regular settings that are available do seem to work

WiFi seen on both 2,4 and 5Ghz channels and connects to each without issue.
      5Ghz speed very impressive.
      Ethernet good too.

No options on the home screens for reboot/sleep etc, so looks like an app will be required although with no root, this may be difficult.
Tried adb shell reboot -p from my PC to power off but returns an error that the device is unauthorised, so power off may have to be via the button until I can achieve root.

      UI is smooth and responsive.

      External SD card showing

More later when I can get Titanium backup running to restore apps and test further.
      1. "root device" is fixed abd will be included in next release
      2. HDMI/SPDIF passthrought options are still missing. i am still working on it
      3. poweroff button in homescreen will be included in next release

Thanks for the the testing abd feedbacks!

            Hi Wasser,

Thank you for your support of the ROM development.

            My device:
            Beelink R89 2G/16G
            PCB ver 3.0
            1080P@60Hz
            Gigabit Ethernet
            FW 4.0.0 alpha1

This is the first ROM build that I tested with true stutter free in YouTube 1080 video.
Stutter is occasionally happened even in stable FW 3.0.2. (Not all 1080 YouTube video. There is stutter even the video is not 1080P60)

Another thing that I noticed RKRemoteControl is working again!
I am really surprised by that. Excellent!

            Features missing
1.) External device cannot be mounted. (All my external devices are EXFAT file system format. And I cannot test the video playback in MX player caused by the mounting issue)
2.) Android navigation bar cannot be hidden
3.) Clear all recently used apps button (But it seems that this feature is also not available from the Nexus device with stock Marshmallow ROM)
4.) Hidden status bar is sometimes dragged from left or right hand side (I don' t know it is issue or not. But Lollipop' s status bar is dragged from center at all times)
Root issue, power button issue, auto rotation issue have been already reported by other members.

            Regards,
            Sintest

Flash the image using the factory tool.

I tend to find it works more reliably than the android tool.

Here's how to flash by shorting the two pins on the circuit board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9lLJirKEIQ

Awesome work. Great to see Marshmellow on the R89. Is this magic comming from a new SDK from Rockchip ?

                          Also: Does Xposed work ?

installing, but not work, because superSU not work. In 4.0.1 must work

Outstanding. Running this on my Beelink R89, with wonderfully fluid video in YouTube/Netflix. The best I've seen on an android device. Fast interface, excellent 5ghz wifi, BT working, USB ports working, Ethernet working. As others have noted, external SD card not seen.

BUT - I can't keep it as a daily driver because several of my favourite Kodi addons run without audio! BBC Iplayer, Phoenix and several others. When that's fixed, this will be my rom of choice. Well done, Maestro, another triumph in the making.
