On 4.0.4 rc1 and 4.0.5 rc2 video is deinterlaced now using HW decoder. The problem that decoder does not detect properly which line is first - odd or even. So a part of videos is correct and looks just fine and another part is impossible to see because of twin image on panoramas.

Maybe setting "Stay awake" in "Developer options" is enabled. Does your box react when you press power button?

Hi, great rom and thanks for your continuous supoort for this tv box.
I have flashed the latest version (RC2) and it is stable so far with one exemption, html5 web videos are not working. I checked different websites and also m.youtube.com but nothing is working. Video search works fine, initial screen works showing the video screen shot and video duration but once I click play nothing is showing. No audio or video. Tried a different browser than chrome but the problem still not solved.
This website www.youtube.com/html5 shows that html5 and other formats are supported but still no video is working.
All was working fine in lollipop rom. Any help please? Thanks.

I don't know why there is such strange behavior but after you click anywhere on the timeline video should play.

Alternatively you can use YouTube application.

Thanks, I tried clicking on the time line but nothing happens. Youtube app works fine. I used Youtube website as an example but my kids enjoy cartoons on different websites that use html5 but none is working.

Solved : searched play store for html5, Firefox browser came up and after installation all is well now.

wasser SPDIF works really well on RC2! YouTube works great on RC2 once I changed the audio out to SPDIF. So RC1 works for HDMI audio out and RC2 works great for SPDIF out. Can you have two different builds? One for HDMI audio and one for SPDIF audio?

Am part way through testing but wanted to quickly note that HDMI passthrough is not working, although SPDIF is.

Update: It is now working intermittently.

Sometimes no sound at all, sometimes downmixed to PCM and other full Dolby and DTS.
