1. Google play videos works for me,
2. miracast is not supported yet
3. the crash in Settings->Display is fixed

1. In my case Google play, play free videos but payed not. In case of play video, free sample, not show player menu.

3. In Portuguese(Brasilian) not open if I change for English is OK.

New: My videos in Google Drive not Play, in lollipop is OK.

In my test I change on/off DRM.

4.0.7 feedback

As per before except:

Initial testing using Auto display refresh rate set to Off.


iPlayer now has correct audio/video sync after skipping
Tears of Steel now has perfect video/audio sync
Connect to PC setting remains as selected after a reboot.
Display settings now working after changing language.


HDMI playback works when using MX Player but no version of Kodi/RKMC/SPMC will pass any sound at all when pass through is selected. I have no idea why this should be if another app can do so.

Booting up still goes to blank screen and have to move mouse to get to lock screen.
Default for select USB Configuration still resets to Charging after a reboot, although where before I might have to select MTP a couple of times before it changes, it now does so first time.


About as close to the perfect ROM as you can get with MM so far that I have seen.

true bluesmanuk.... i believe the spdif passthrough using kodi is the only remaining issue...
i'm expecting the release of mo123's latest LP rom in which spdif passthrough works in both mxplayer and kodi (that's what i'm expecting since the 1.5 rom was not having any sound problem) , my only concerns are the (the switch off issue for beelink R89 and the color regression when booting)...
when it comes to the video playback (wasser's MM roms and mo123's LP roms) is simply breathtaking , and i've never seen such a playback quality in any other rom or box... even on the infamous minix U1 and himedia Q10 pro.... great effort from wasser and mo123....

I'll be trying SPDIF through Kodi a little later to see if that works.

The fact that passthrough works in MX Player does confirm that it works, so there must need to be some additional operability between ROM and Kodi to enable it.

Quality of playback is definitely a step above other devices though and the depth, clarity and vivid colours make it a joy to use.

4.0.7 doesn't seem to support HDMI audio passthrough. I tested this on the R28 and R89 on 4 TV's (Panasonic Plasma's) and 4 receivers (Yamaha and Pioneer).

Thanks for this new MM rom. I had jumped on my first R89 from KK rom to this 4.0.7; everything went fine flashing the box with Android Tool, first "Eraseflash" and then "upgrade".

There is a major bug for me; Wifi 5G does not connect, the box can see the signal when the router is set on channels from 36 to 140 but does not connect, after a couple times trying appear "wifi connection failure"; when router is set to any channel above 149 the box simply can not see the signal at all. My AC router is set to VHT(80+80) width channel. The other R89 running with your LP rom 3.0.5 connect without a problem to wifi 5G.

wifi 2.4G and ethernet work fine.

Regarding to xbmc, I had tried RKMC but there are a lot of problems with sound; many times I had video without sound. I'm using spmc 16.4 working fine, but i remark that I do not use any PT equipment.

Youtube 1080p - 60 fps has the best performance ever for me.

Not even when using MX Player 1.7 and rev1 custom codec?

I found that I had to reboot for the setting to operate but it worked fine after that.
