UPDATE - Marschmallow - Wasser Firmware for Beelink R89

Quick question, I'm on Wasser Lollipop and want to upgrade to this Marshmallow build. Can I upgrade remotely (i.e. transfer the file to the box and upgrade without plugging the PC)?

No.

You have to flash through the PC and appropriate Android tool.

Backup anything important that will be lost first as the box will be wiped.

Most probably yes.
It has the same SoC (RK3288).
I do not know if WiFi or BT will work since this devices are not in the SoC but different chips with drivers in the Android.
So you can give it a try and if something does not work you can easily revert to the official firmware.

I like SPMC, sounds is always working contrary to Kodi. Try it.

Thx, I have test it. But 3D dont work. Only flickering without switch from TV to 3D mode an Passthrough dont work

Wane try this one, but still some sound issues.....I dont know how far wasser is at the moment with an update for this rom....Wane update it, kitkat drives me crazy sometimes...Sound volume drops till zero, sometimes its busy with something what interrupts the music you dont wane know.....How many times i have adjust it while playing.....Just music....If you have to walk to this box 5 times in a half hour, to put up the volume, besides that the music is the whole time interrupted....Looks like the box is busy with something , what i dont know.....I really hope Lollipop and at the end Marschmallow will have a better experience then what i describe....But think gone take some time to bring out an update...But does anyone has the same experience or recognised what i describe...And Lollipop has these things also, or nada..?

@scorp76: You can try my favorit combination. I use Wasser 3.0.3 and Kodi extracted from Ugoos UT3 v3.0.2b
I have extracted this with Titanium Backup. On this Kodi version do not use the 23976 Codec. It is disabled by default

Bud Cord rd rkmcapp i thought i could install it on marschmallow...Think i do something stupid, Apk cant be installed...This is an separate Rockchip media player..?Downloaded it but cant install it..Says something wrong with installation pack...?
