Installed your rom, went into a "Wasser" boot loop. Waited half an hour to see if it did indeed install but no luck. Could not get back into "loader" so had to open box and short two pins to get into "maskrom". Re-installing your rom now to see if it boot loops again.

4.0.0 alpha1 Feedback

Installed over the top of the most recent LP ROM with factory tool 1.33 with no issues at all.

Noted that the ROM is not rooted, so would like to know the best tool to use to root.

No HDMI or SPDIF passthrough options available.

Box detected by PC as a storage device by default (no option to select type i.e. MTP, Mass storage etc ) but nothing available when you look at it and no data can be written to it.
Just found the option in Developer options, which is not where I expected it to be (now called Select USB Configuration)
Changing to PTP does enable access to DCIM and Pictures.

All regular settings that are available do seem to work.

WiFi seen on both 2,4 and 5Ghz channels and connects to each without issue.
5Ghz speed very impressive.
Ethernet good too.

No options on the home screens for reboot/sleep etc, so looks like an app will be required although with no root, this may be difficult.
Tried adb shell reboot -p from my PC to power off but returns an error that the device is unauthorised, so power off may have to be via the button until I can achieve root.

UI is smooth and responsive.

Titanium requires root also. My second try, still going into the boot loop. I forget, but my R89 is one of the first test boxes sent to me by Omar from Beelink, so it may have different innards to your boxes.

Guess I will have to short those very tiny pins again to re-install the other firmware......

If you were still running on an old KK ROM then it is likely that you will have to short the pins, erase IDB and try again.

Shorting those tiny pins has been the only way I can get into the loader screen. So far, I have tried this firmware 2 times and it hung on the boot loading screen, and when I tried to go back to some other Roms for my box, they would not work.

Back to shorting pins, did this at least 6 or 8 times, trying different Roms, finally got Wasser's 3.0.6 to run on this box. Now I remember what a pain it was to get into the loader screen with this box. Luckily, I had cataract surgery a couple of months ago, so now I can SEE those tiny pins.

I have instaled 4.0.0 on top of 3.0.2 and it`s working great, I have notice some problems with some websites where you can`t see the desktop option only the phone option seams to work also I`ve instaled the myMail app for my the best e-mail app on the playstore and the screen become stretch like on the midle of the screen tipe phone mirroring not entire screen, very smouth experiece, no stuttering, no green screen, nofreezing, no unwanted reboot, no youtube problem(like before freazing from time to time) very smouth, gaming also very smouth, over all very good! Good work inded, my box is Tronsmart R28 Pro and seance the 3.0.2 this is the best firmware by far, by the way I`ve used the Rochcip Batch Tool v1.7 for upgrade
