This particular ROM which was mentioned just a few pages back in THIS thread, was android 7 for the 2gb/16gb X92. However it's MK22 based. It boots on the X92 but videos dont play on internet, the screen goes black. This is what we are having flashing from. I download the 6.0 usb firmware update, however now my device wont get detected via USB. So i can only use img file.

Can you recommend a working 6.0 2/16 img file that is compatable with X92 that I can just flash to get a base to use ota from on SD card?

    Thanks
The stock 6.0 from May 2017 is available in the same thread on 4pda where you got the MK22 firmware.

I also think there has been posted a link to it earlier in this thread, maybe 10 - 15 pages back.

It is always advised to read every post in a thread before you start, so that you get a clear picture of what is possible and what not.

There have been several comment on here that the MK22 firmware sucks, so if you had read every post you would not have made this mistake.

I got the stock firmware, but it's zip file.. I can't flash the zip through the MK22's updater it fails. How else can I flash a zip? I tried from booting from SD Card, and it goes through the whole process then fails with error 7 like the other guy mentioned before. I'm looking for a IMG file that I can flash via usb burning tool or sd card maker.. But it has to be IMG file.. On the Mk22, we can not flash ZIP.

I need your help, urgently please.
tried to upgrade via OTA (Select file) got to recovery screen, chose wipe data and then update via SDCARD but.. i get the messages attached.
I also tried via USB stick but no luck.
          I have used the x92 3G 171211.zip

Please advise what I am doing wrong and what i should do.

          THank you in advance,
to whomever might have faced the same problem as i described above.

The solution was simple but, you do need a USB cable male-to-male.
Connected box to PC, reset, USB burning tool etc (the process described in previous posts).
Now running 7.1.2 on custom rom.
          Worked like a charm.
Plus, Android 7 finally give you DTS support.

Hopefully a new updated IMG will come up soon.

Only negative so far is the high temp: 60-89c

Kodi has always been able to play dts encoded files. And Kodi consumes higher CPU.

Other players such as mxplayer requires external codec files.

              Certain firmware has stability issue.

Just to clarify speculation about my poison rom and compatibillity with S912 devices

My rom is modified to work on any S912 device, its preserves needed files from the previously installed firmware and adds them to the ROM, thus why my rom is distributed without a kernel.
I have a 2/16GB T95Z and as the rom states its using the 3/32GB /system partition ported to work with all variants of S912 chipsets.
everyday im working more and more towards a completely universal ROM for AMLogic devices.
I have also completely ported a rom from an S905x to the device without any bugs.

so as ive told the AMLogic community before, having a developer with the abillities i do you can expect an earthquake of changes.
first was my poison rom, then came an init.d implemention, then came my amlogic flash tool with the abillity to port custom recoveries to any amlogic device, now its my completely rebuilt Amlogic tools that are open source.

Hey guys, I have just bricked my device while trying to install "X92-MK22Plus-Android-7.1.2-01.09.2017-MOD-051117-6." using sd-card. Now my device doesnt turn on AT ALL, only the blue X92 that lights up !!
I'm trying to unbrick it using USB Burning tool, but I cant find a working stock android link with .img format !! either 6 or 7 .(even in 4PDA forum). So I tried with the MK22PLUS img itself, but the progress never passes 4%, and then I hear the usb disconnection sound, is it because it's not stock android or I need some usb drivers to be installed ??

So can someone please provide an .img stock android link ?? And also help me out find if I'm doing something wrong .. as this is my first time using such tools !?
I did a lot of reading but things don't always go as described !!
Please I'm relying in you ..

edit : my box is a 3/32 and before brick I was on android 6 latest official update I think .
