This is a modded one based on x92 Rikomagic MK22 ROM. This is for 3G only.
1. The LCD panel works with displaying time, temperature, and flash activities.
2. The modified TROM launcher is reverted back to the Lighthome launcher. The TROM launcher has Russion mod embedded inside while the Lighthome is English. Also modified a few non-working panels in the launcher.
3. Supersu.apk and su are removed. Totally replaced with systemless Magisk.
4. Original automatic framerate adjustment is added with a simple mod, which allowed one to enable or disable autoframe rate.
( Automatic framerate causes display to flicker at the start of movie when frame rate is adjusted, so some people do not like it ).
5. There are reports that the original Rikomagic MK22 ROM cannot detected USB thumb drive/USB HDD and slow throughput.
This isn't always repeatable for me but anyway the whole drivers and kernel have been replaced with a new set of drivers compiled from source.
6. The Rikomagic Mk22 ROM is a 64-bit Android ROM. Most other available x92 ROM are running 32-bit zygote.
How can I flash this ROM please? Are you still using this ROM? How is it going?
I am currently on the latest Official nougat ROM for the 3GB/32GB version
EDIT:
I succeeded in flashing the firmware, but it is in setup mode after the first boot for more than 1 hour now.
EDIT2:
Booted finally, had to flash Original mk22 then this modded mk22 without erasing flash and bootloader.
Don't see anything different from the Original mk22 though.

Does anyone else have a problem with the WiFi on the x92? Mine keeps getting disconnected for some reason and it's definitely not a connection problem.

i also used the MEGA link you shared... x92 3G 171211.zip... to upgrade my x92_3GB / 32GB...
i tried this upgrade method:
1. copy 3 files from zip... SD CARD + reset + power
2. copy ONLY the q201-ota-root.zip to SD CARD... run Backup&Update... select zip and update...
3. rename q201-ota-root.zip to update.zip... copy to SD CARD... reboot to recovery... update from EXT...
all of them failed 3 i method i used... as the same as ypnos user picture...
A1. how did you manage to update to stock 7.1.2... ???
A2. is the MEGA link x92 3G 171211.zip is the STOCK firmware???

It put a version of TWRP that is not compatable with the x92 and therefore wont flash nor load bootloader correctly. I've tried everything and it wont flash. I need to get rid of TWRP or find an OTA that is .img format and not zip to try the burning tool
OTA is never in image format, those are flashed over USB.
Stasio posted a link to a stock 7.1 USB firmware at the top of this page, and there are Android 6.0 USB firmwares elsewhere in the thread.

Can you recommend a working 6.0 2/16 img file that is compatable with X92 that I can just flash to get a base to use ota from on SD card?
Thanks
