I wasn't expecting an ETA. Just to know that you're going to update your ROM, that I use since I bought my Y8, its good enough.
I really hope to be able to have a stable and good performing ROM to enjoy this box. And if there are someone who can do it, its you!

Well you will see the diferences when i post it later today!
But compared with the 6.. a lot lot better, this one took me a bit to make!

Wasn't sure if this was an upgrade to your ROM or a new one.

While I'm just eager to have it, please take your time and do it with no hurry... We all know that you maintain a lot of ROMs and other softwares.
Besides, that ROM is what will save this box Once more, thank you so much for doing this amazing work for all the community!

A few quick test using superceleron Custom Rom

L5.1 is still not played in HW.
L3.0-L5.0 - ok
L5.1 - error.


So far I'm using OS A6.

I play h264 Hi10P L5.1 on RK3229/RK3328 in Kodi 18 and it plays great with new firmware from May.
CPU usage even 30% hardware decoded.
All these videos can play - https://www.koi-sama.net/files/hi10/
MXPlayer, RKMC can still only play L5.0
Manufacturer of NT-V9 will also release RK3399 firmware next week to add it.
L5.2 can also play but I don't know where to get sample videos to test it.
So it is indeed supported on Rockchip devices but only in new firmwares.

You have any other video playback problems or ideas?
Then I can find out if there is a solution for it.

i want to buy a RK3399 Box but until now i can say which one , it looks like the Boxes with Wifichip AP 6356S

have better chance for good Rom support because of / UT5Pro / HPH NT V9 / this one , and maybe some

other Boxes ,
