i always like to to see a good work..
Must of the stuff is in the bootloader(locked) and boot.img(must are encrypted, dunno about ADT-1), now you need to add widevine L1 that is the must important!
And then you also need the .so's from playready and L1.
This part is theory from what i have read of google whitepapers... it looks like its hw id hardcoded!
Bear in mind i dont have a "real" ATV to debug, so im always limited!

I got 2 Philips Android TV, so I'm used to stock Android TV and if it got abit more stable I would maybe run it again.
But what I really would like is the full Android with Leanback Launcher, that would be really really good.

Well, this is intended to be "the full Android with Leanback Launcher". As we were discussing earlier, there might be some elements that require Level 1 DRM that we won't get because we don't have a secure platform, but there's not much we can do about that. (The fact that we don't have a secure platform is what allows us to make these custom ROMs.)

Thanks to a donated OTA update from ALVATECH, I've refreshed the AP6255 updater with the GT1_110M0 kernel and drivers. Folks with A912 boxes should now be able to run the latest build.

Update: If you downloaded the updater yesterday, grab today's build (20170220) which has an important fix for a bug that prevented the AP6255 kernel from being installed.

I just posted a pretty major release today, and I'm officially updating the status from DEVELOPMENT build to BETA, suitable for general use by early adopters. Please also note the comment I added about Widevine Level 1 certification, which means that we may never get access to features relying on DRM that needs a secure platform. (As I said above, the fact that we don't have a secure platform is what allows us to make these custom ROMs.)

Awesome job!!! I really liked this ROM. Those who are still having issues with brightness try this out. I found this brighter than any other ROM that I tried so far. Keep up the good work!!!

Okay, I just dropped an update that addresses the DTS/Dolby audio issue, removes the Beelink "feature" that opens Storage Settings on startup if an SD card is inserted, removes the underlying Amlogic ROM dependency on AOSP WebView, and adds the Android TV Remote Control Service. Switching to superceleron's kernel is something that I'll have to discuss further with him, but my initial intent was to just keep things simple and stable by sticking with the stock OEM kernel.

Thanks Magendanz for solving issues. Superceleron kernal is running smoothly. After adding Superceleron kernal will your ROM fly or you can tweak stock kernal

                            Hello.
so, for me ( maybe it will be different for other people).
                            - during flash with USB burning, I have to remove USB cable after bootloader erase cause process stop with an error. The process restart flashing as usual after that.
                            - android TV remote on my LG G4 can see the beelink G1 but don't want to connect.
                            - Dolby is ok as with the old rom version, but DTS and DTS HDMA don't work.

Thanks for your time and your work !

Gazouille, are you pressing the recessed button while connecting the USB cable? On the GT1, this is a particularly small target and I often find the paper clip has missed the mark. And if you don't get it in recovery mode, the USB Burning Tool will fail trying to erase the bootloader.

Oh sorry, it's the end of the journey here in France and I completely forgot to push this button ! Ok, it's time to do it again but more seriously...
                                thanks
