      Hi bundyboy ,

look behind the yellow 3.5 inch Connector , you can reach it with a "Earcleaner" or "Toothpick" ,

or what ever you want . But strange that a RK Device use it like that . I only saw this until now

      on Amilogic PCBs .

      good luck

                  ok

just one more thing about flashing,

is the same flashing procedure for this custom rom ?

                  Using Batch tool
Hold reset button, (tooth pick) confirm you hear the click if switch.
                  Plug in usb cable
                  Detects
                  and flash ?

i did in same way with stock rom.

                  Thank you

You can read about RK3399 Nougat 7.1.2 here.

You can also read RK twitter since Jan 2017 when they released Nougat.

I also have a different RK3399 device(board) running Nougat, I'll see if I can send you some pics.
The developer Rockchip does not even have a word about the Nougat.

There is a suspicion that the chip RK3399 contains errors.

Nougat doesn't use RKMC, it can use Kodi 17.3 already optimally using Mediacodec.
But RKMC can still work on Nougat if wanting to use it, the required libraries are included in Nougat firmware and not uploaded to that github site.
RK3399 devices that were shipped very early firmwares' are full of bugs yes, that is why several companies will only ship RK3399 in 1-2 months with the latest firmware.

                            Nougat & KODI 17.3 plays in HW x264 High10@L5.1?

There are already terrible doubt that this is the case and will not work in the RK3399.

                              Kodi 17/18 don't support 10-bit H264 and never will.
I asked them twice in the Kodi forum in the past and they just said too few devices support High10 H264 and they won't add it.
So you must use RKMC or MXPlayer if you want to play that video format as those 2 video players support H264 High10 format.

The profile @L5.1 10-bit x264, declared by the Rockchip Co., is not play on any box with RK3399.
Maybe in Nougat works, but, most likely, and there also does not work.
