          Best KK ROM for J22?

          Hi Guys,
D33 , Finless , or other specialist ROM cooks

What would be the most stable and best KK ROM + Kernel for the original J22 ?
I'm still on 4.2.2 now but it's time to flash
my J22 isn't modded, so standard 1.6 Ghz is ok

main use: Video playback (archos/xbmc) via Wifi (1080p if possible)

          Thanks in advance.

                Hello,

I've bought second CX919II identical to my first one. I had perfect combination of kernel, system image with everything working.

However, after trying to flash new device with same software it has some glitches. Part of screen is shaking every few seconds, sometimes system hangs and restarts.
Flashed first device with the same configuration - works just great.

                New device - http://www.aliexpress.com/item/googl...117535857.html
                Old device - http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/292002511.html

Technical specifications looks the same. Has anyone had problems with new version of CX919II? Maybe there is some new chip inside?

I will have a few more of these J22's within days, I really think its best not to touch them and just root the stock ROM

I have also 2. My first is not flickering the 2nd is flickering with the same kernel. Download this official Firmware from Bluetimes and ur new stick will work without flickering. http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/7bzbci Or look it here. There u will find also vsync fix and OC: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-dan-Vsync-Fix. I think the difference between ur 1st and ur 2nd stick is, that the 2nd stick is working with rk 3188-T cpu.

That's kind of my experience, but I've had some luck with other ROMs, too. Finless' KK 2.0 with d33's kernel is not bad, but no BT however. That said, definitely back up your stock ROM before meddling

sorry BLUETOOTH NOT WORKING YET (had to reinstall linux and everything else)

i use it with combination with new stock cx919 rom from

                        Antutu = 20.590 points
not hot yet...haven't tried or test anything yet...

OH and...it's overclocked so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!
I have tried many different kernels and rom combinations and settled on the above combination of marvin kernel and cx-919 stock for the J22 stick. XBMC, crackle and many others apps worked fine at 1080p, However none of the roms played netflix correctly. Netflix would bump down to low resolution despite a fast wifi connection.

I tried installing a enhancement on the xda forum called comadose, and presto, everything is faster and no jags at all on netflix. locks in to hd instantly.

                          this is still Android 4.2 ?, I want 4.4 on my J22 (it's a lot smoother)
                          what's your antutu score?

Well working cx-919 II with rom but no fast wifi on N band

                              Hi,

I followed all your suggestions and am able to have a well working stick with kitkat.

Only problem is that if my router is in mixed mode (b/g/n) or
in n mode the stick has a download speed < 1Mbps.

In b/g mode it has around 18 Mbps which is fine if I compare it
                              with my phone.

Don't like to put the router in b/g mode.

                              Any suggestions?

                              Thnx!
