J22 TVSTICK with AP6210 wifi

hi... i have a new j22, it arrive now from china.
i try to flash stock rom from geek... but it not work....
after i flash neomode 1.3... don' t work
after i flashed neomode 1.7 , it work.. but i no have wireless and bluethoot
after i flashed neomode 1.7 and lon 720base and 1080base... no work... no load, and if load the screen go crazy... i cannot test if wifii work
after i flashed neomode 1.7 and origina kernel.. no work

so... i post its original kernel and boot..
for lucky i make a backup before with dump_image

if you can do somethings :-)
the chipset is 6210

i use the kernel_lon_720p_OC_DDR_CPU and all work! wii.fii and bluethoot are ok
1) the app Tincore crash every time i launch it.... but for me it is no a problem
2) sometime the screen became all black for one/two seconds... but after it work again,
as it go in suspension mode.... audio and screen go out for same seconds...

That's the same problem i'm having, that the screen keeps going black for a few seconds. Do you also geet some green stripes thru the screen?

no.. whit oc kernel i have only black screen for few second.... it is very bored... you cannot do nothing,,, it is impossible see a movie or hear a song... :-(

stock firmware of J22 cyxtech_rk3188_dongel_ap6210_130629_EN no work,, tv stick no boot!!!
so maybe it is a littlebit different....

There were at least two versions of that stick. Are you sure your is version with the AP6210 chip?
All CX919 II (j22) sticks in my stock work with the stock firmware (cyxtech) or with the new kernel of Lonely25 and hybrid firmware of Neomode without any problem.

my stick don't work with J22 cyxtech_rk3188_dongel_ap6210_130629_EN, tv stick no boot!
if i use hybryd 1.7 or 1.3 with lonely kernel... it boot... wireless e bluethoot work... but i have a black scree sometime.... and display fliker
i note one things...
if i set screen to 720x576.... all work .. i no have more black screen....
so i thinks that the problem is on 1280x720 or 1920x1080... if as the stick set by self the resolution so i have back screen for same second...
i try su different tv and with different power supply...
Maybe a 3° version?
i have posted my stock kernel and boot... if someone can see inside them :-) :-)

Yess please! Would be great if you could upload stock firmware for me! Because the cyxtech version also doesnt word for me, stick doesnt boot. So it seems we have the same problem.

my kernel is changed only in wifi and bt settings, otherwise its the same for all sticks

yes i try all your firmware.....
if i use the 720 resolution i no have problems....
only if i change resolution to 1280 or 1920 i have frequently black screen for few second...
...
today i use my stick on old plasma tv.. and in it work good...... but if i try same stick on my new tv... i have random black screen.... ( the styck is always on)
it seem tha tv try to setting always the resolution
i don't know how i must think :-) ....

because with the original stock firmware of J22 my styck don't boot... i thinked that they was a little bit difference...

This worked for me, everything is stock now. Can somebody modify this to make a custom rom? So we can have smooth XBMC playback?

ok i made some roms...wifi and bt are working
try base if you have black screen or stripes..if it works try other (tweaked)

I'v flashed your kernel_lon_1080p_1.6cpu_v2_base with neomode 1.3 rom. WiFi and Bluetooth are working now. System looks stable. That's great.
Minor problems are with graphics - in WiFi spped test application some big black squares instead of speedometer arrow - which was not the case with stock rom.

The only real general improvement would be HDMI audio pass trougth (like one available on CS968).

It would be really great if you publish source or just changes to thesawolf kernel which you used as a base. All here who want to try adjust the kernel will be wery gratefull to you not to spent time to repeate GPIO stuff you'v done already.

this one i currently use...19.600 antutu...no overheat

i tried to OC gpu but the smallest OC of GPU it gets unstable and also lines most of the time...so i don't recommend it

try this one and report...

for XBMC users...i have problem with alpha9, but alpha8 is ok
