Pipo M9 Pro RileyROM 1.2 (M9 with 1920x1200 display) [Feedback]

I have succesfully root the RileyRom 1.2 on my Pipo M9 pro.
The wifi reception is now really bad, only 2 meters en the wifi reception drops time after time. I had with the stock rom much beter reception and stability.
What can I do to fix this?
Everytime when I reboot the tabelt ticks 3 times. Is this normal?
Overall the RileyRom has improved the tabelt a lot.

I think yes
but unfortunately I had no dumped my stock ROM that is newer than ROM on Pipo download site.....

You can return to 29/7/2013 Stock rom..... my stock rom was more recent...

I HOPE that the problem is on Riley 1.2!!!
because if the Wifi Problems are patched in the newest Stock rom, this is NOT available on Pipo download pages!!!

newest rom I had original on my pipo m9 pro was:

Please where you buy your PiPO ?

We are looking if the "bad" PiPO are only from "some" website seller or is a PiPO original problem.
There is many PiPO clone.....

From my seller fortunately all PiPO are OK

As i have already write above is from pipomall. They already advice to upgrade at a newer firmware (5/8/2013) but i cannot from my current location as internet is very slow so i have to wait.

This was my first tablet ever and my fist custom rom, but it all went smoothly. Very good instructions in the zip, thnx. Overall I love the tablet and your rom.

Unfortunately, my Pipo M9 Pro has developed a black line that goes all the way through the LCD (on day two) and it even remains there on reboot. It's definitely a hardware problem and I will have to send the tablet back to china for repairs. I have 3 questions for you all...

1) Do I need to flash the tablet back to the original rom to avoid warranty problems?

2) How do I backup this rom and all my apps (and setting) so that I can restore it quickly upon repair?

3) How do I guard my personal info...basically, would it be wise for me to wipe the entire tablet before sending it to China? If so, how do I do that?


Again, thanks so much for this resource. I absolutely love this tab and rom and I'm so bummed I have to send it back for repairs...ugh.

You can restore a backup made in CWM recovery generic?

hello, before flashing the ROM I did a CWM backup but want to restore only started in CWM recovery, anyone know how I can go back to that backup. I arrived yesterday and I think my pipo who brought the firmware was more current than this ROM. THANKS IN ADVANCE sorry for my bad English

Thank you riley for this rom, stability and peformance wise this is a beast, howeveri confirm what others say about wifi in this on, unstable singla and drops, hope you will fix it, for now staying with this cause system didnt hang even once this week

Can someone please tell me how to flash back the original factory rom? I need to get my Pipo M9 Pro serviced (screen is messed up) and I want to wipe the entire thing back to factory specs before I send it to China. I backed everything up with Titanium so I can restore it when it comes back.

I downloaded update_PIPO_M9 pro_3G_EN_20130729.img from Pipo's site. How do I flash this back and wipe all my data? Or is there another way to do this?
