Hi gefattern, they do have a rom working SuperSU; I just check if the latest version is working with SuperSU.

for sure you can try the latest Rom 10.10.2018 , i know it has root , but as Users discribed

it is not possible to use or install SuperSU , my Version 25.5 is rooted & has SuperSU

installed but it is not possible to update the App or the Binarys , does not work , we really

need a working TWRP (for Backup) and working SuperSU , found a Recovery for H96Max ,

but not sure if they will work , have to try it ,

At present for our X99;SuperSU not working stable even no SuperSU!!

As gefattern said,such as ROM25/5 Rooted+SuperSU but its not "working"!!

So there is no any proper/working real rooted&SuperSU ROM yet!

If the manufacturer could have send me a sample, the source code and communicate, I would have been able to fix superuser support months ago so that it works like in my rk3328 Nougat firmware.

that would be a miracle , a working SuperSU or even Magisk , what about the Bootloader ,

i bought my X99 from Kingsway / Manufacturer , but there are hunderds of Companys

in China that build this Boxes , the main Company for the RK Rom Disaster on all SOCs

is Rockchip self , they not making it good , to slow & a Dev. can explain it better ,

For the "RK3399";you right all ROM/Firmware/Support etc., all really bad

When we look out the "Market" all Devices AMLogic!! 905/912 and some of RK3328 etc.,

BUT no one beat it RK3399 in the field of "Picture Quality"!

Why I use this box since May/2017?? only for "Picture Quality" thats it

And it seems to me with the last OTA F/W the picture quality way better than the previous F/Ws !!

Magisk doesn't support Rockchip boot images.
All you can do is PM the Magisk developer and ask to add support.

Hey Guy's let me say this about the latest OTA update..2018-10-10 it messed up my box, it was running really really well and then the update and yesterday it freaked out with green lines thru the display and turning on & off.I am probably going to downgrade the firmware to the 2018-05-22 but i haven't found it yet.Have to read thru the 37 pages maybe its in here..

No i had the original one that came with the box 2018-05-22 and it ran really well, and then this newest update 2018-10-10 made it messed up...
