Full Root
Debloat
Pipo Launcher included
Google Play Store fixes, to all for more compatible apps
Reduced System.img file size with ext4 file system
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12gb user app space parameter files
Your choice of stock recovery or CWM (Stock Recovery is the default)
Multi-user support (I finally got this to work correctly) You will see a new option called Users in settings.
Some Internet/Wifi tweaks to improve speed and streaming
Some video performance adjustments
A few general performance enhancements
The Petrus Reboot app
Disabled OTA updates
Brand new boot animation from Tattman65
tun.ko, cifs.ko and m4.ko installed

I'm assuming that since Pipo included GPS within this tablet, their firmware contains the required support for it. It isn't something that I've added or subtracted...nor to I have a tablet to test.

The best plan would be for users to try it out and see.

Just installed RileyRom 1.2 on my new Pipo M6 Pro 3G last night. I'm absolutely baffled that it isn't dual band WiFi. I've read various specs on the tablet and some sites say it is dual band but it doesn't seem to be the case. This is a disaster for me as I can't use it at all during the night at home. I have a baby monitor and it cripples my 2.4Ghz network; no matter what channel I choose. I am baffled as to why the M8 Pro 3G has dual band WiFi yet the M6 Pro does not? Does anyone know the answer to this for certain?

In addition, I've only installed a few apps, one being Netflix. The problem with Netflix is that it crashes the tablet completely after only a few seconds. I have to do a pinhole reset to get it back on. I also tried Plex Media Centre and it won't play anything above 4Mbps. If I attempt this the picture freezes or goes black, but the audio is fine. I am also unhappy with the amount of static felt in my hands whilst the charger is plugged into the mains. To be honest I'm rather unimpressed so far. The lack of dual band WiFi is an absolute killer for me. Wish I'd stuck with my M8 Pro!

I can confirm GPS works on the stock ROM and on RR 1.2. I wasn't able to get a great signal though. To be honest I didn't have much time to play with GPS but the feature is definitely there.

Can someone please check Netflix and see if they are having any issues? At first my M6 Pro would freeze completely and require a hard reset. I then did a factory reset and this time the video plays ok but when I press the screen to pause etc the buttons pop up for a split second then disappear again. Thank you.

Could someone please check what way the SIM card goes in to the SIM slot? Either I'm putting mine in the wrong way or the port is faulty. Thank you!

It is drawn on the side of the tablet. Press the SIM card until you can hear the "click", the card shall be firmly inserted inside the tablet. It is better to insert the card with the tablet switched off.

Thanks. That's the way I've been inserting it. Quite often it will get stuck. I do hear it click into place but the tablet isn't detecting it. Are you using RileyRom 1.2 as well? Cheers

Yes, I've tried with the stock firmware and with the rileyrom 1.1 and 1.2 and everything is working properly, Are you sure you have 3G sim and NOT a 4G LTE one? Try with other SIM before thinking that you have an hardware problem.

Yes its definitely a 3G sim card as I used it in my M8 Pro tablet. Also tried the sim from my phone. I've ensured the mobile network is switched on too.

Netflix is freezing the tablet completely again after a few seconds causing me to pinhole reset it. This worries me.

On question about the content of this ROM (my tablette will arrive on monday)

Does this ROM included the multi window ? or is it easy to add ?

What is this tun.ko, cifs.ko and m4.ko installed ?

Yes, I believe it has Multi-Window.

Those KO files are necessary to connect to VPN.

Some folks need that to connect to their networks...but it isn't a mainstream requirement.
