in the thread was written that after accepted OTA upgrade one rooted tablet was bricked...

In stock FW, there is no standby (just screen off, or turn off), so the battery doesn't last very long. Is there an option in your new rom?
My wifi is ok in stock FW (nearly like the strength on my nexus 4) and only to get root acces to my tablet, I woun't install everything again with the Riley FW.

What do you think?

Okay, All!!!!

Back from baseball for now.

Not to confuse anyone...I'm also testing a new ROM for the M9 Pro, which has similar issues...so this post is very similar to one I just posted on the M9 Pro thread.

I've put together another test ROM to try which hopefully will rectify the problem with the bootanimation. Don't worry what it looks like, it's just the fact that there's something going at this point. After we get successful boot, we can try other things.

keyboard problem

Hello Randy,
I think I might have a bug with the 1.2 Rom with regards to the keyboard. I select English(US) and Greek as input languages but it seems as the language button does not work to alternate between the two keyboards. Sometimes, rebooting helps butmost often it doesn't. Installing alternate keyboards such as Multiling or AI Type does not solve the problem either. Although I enable this input method, Androidstock keyboard seems to take over with the same problems as I mentioned before. Has anybody faced this problem or do you have an idea what might be at fault?

Up to now I do not see prevalence of home made ROMs vs stock one.

Battery life for the moment drains rather fast at stock fw.
Anyone can provide pluses and minuses it is worth t switch to?

I am asking so often about pros and cons., cause I had a LG phone and LG have a fukn update-politic... So I decided to install custom FW and changed every few days from one FW to the other to get allways the newest FW with the result to change stable old stock FW to newest unstable costom FW...

So i would like it very much if you discuss the pros and cons.

What bugs are present? Is it possible to post them in the first post, so you get a faster overview about the newest process.

OK. So I did a factory reset and it seems to be working again. I don't know which app causes the mix up or the conflict. Any ideas anybody?

Unfortunately, Pipo doesn't post a change log with their firmware releases...especially ones I get from back door sources. Whenever I get a new firmware to cook into a custom ROM, I have no idea what they have done.

Users are familiar with the current issues with the ROM and post them here on these threads.

The good news is that I've ordered an M6 Pro to test with (thanks to generous donations from users), so in the future, I will have at least tested the ROM before I post it.

We have a teamwork approach to developing these ROM's, and I appreciate everyone who has tested and noted any issues I need to address.

So, before I make a final ROM out of this...I need a list of anything I need to work further on.

Some things I can't change, but some things are possible.

This is my first post here. I don't even have a M6 Pro... not yet. But I ordered it.

My question is: it's it possible to integrate in your ROM a standby mode, sui that battery drain will be minimized?

If everything works right, the Android standby mode (deep sleep) should work. It's a function of the firmware and has been an issue with the M6 Pro. I don't know if Pipo has fixed this with the new test ROM.

Has anyone tested it?

I hope that the new update will fix the lags. There are games and Apps which aren`t running really good. For example the Game Pou. It seems that I have only 10fps. Is this normal?
