I need help. I received my pipo m6 pro 3g today. when I insert my sim card, the tablet says on the lock screen "no sim card". In the Mobile network settings the "Modem Power" and "Data enabled" is checked.
When I trie to create an "Access Point Name" it is not possible to save them (no save buttom or something esle".
Anybody some ideas.
Original Rom and the tablet is rooted.

OK, just to make sure... the sim card is inserted the right way up and firmly "clicked" into place?

yes the card clicked in. one side is possible to click in only. the contacts looking down to the ground.

That sounds right. I read somewhere that you need to put something thin like paper or tape on the back side of the card in order to make better contact, but I am not so sure that is a good idea...

Yes it is, a collegue of mine used that trick and worked!

Thx guys, the tablet is finding the card now . My problem is now, that the tablet find the provider (search automatic for the provider) and the coverage is very good, but no internet connection? Is it possible, that the sim card is to old? sim is 5 Years old?

I use my sim card which is at least 10 yrs old and have no problems with connection to network automatically, and i can surf the net no problem. p.s. i don't have to put anything like aper behind my sim it just works fine.

The latest version is 1.3test. See post #155.

I plan on making a new 1.3 thread after I've tested it myself. Or 1.4...whichever comes first. That's if Pipo releases a new update.

can i flash it on the same way with the tool Riley provided?

Here is the latest on my progress.

Wow, this latest firmware is picky...a bunch of my usual changes just would not boot on my tablet, so I had to spend several hours flashing and testing over and over until I finally got it right. I'm REALLY glad I received one of these tablets to test.

Anyway, I have a finished v1.3 to upload that is completely debloated and everything seems to work. I haven't loaded everything back just yet, but I'm pretty sure it's all working, OK...including multi-user.

I'm running out of time tonight, but in the morning...I'll upload and post this new ROM and start a 1.3 thread.
