@pipo 2000, dolphin browser works great with me m8, don't know the issue you still have now?

Can somebody confirm/test the problem I have :

With the M6 Pro :

Use Dolphin jetpac or Dolphin browser.
Choose wallpaper (m.flikie.com), and turn ur tablet in Portrait mode.

Now 1/3 of the left screen is blank, unless I touch the screen , then it completes.

In other apps (a local newspaper hln.be, vandaag.be) when put in portrait, the 1/3 of the screen simply does not scroll.
This happens in Normal mode and HD mode.

I don't have the above issues with Dolphin, but on some sites I must admit that Dolphin behaves strange on a tablet.
On the other hand I like Dolphin because of its privacy settings.

Could your problem be rom related?

I dont know. I tested with all sort of ROMS (stock,RileyRom,KastyRom) and al have the same problem until I reflashed the KastyROM.
Now Dolphin seems to load the pages OK but the toolbar (with volume buttons and scrrencapture button) is flikkering like hell when loading the page. The webpage itself is loaded ok now. (Even those that I took a screenshot off with 1/3 missing in the previous post).

The two apps : Vandaag from Telenet and HLN from Coreliogroup still have the 1/3 problem in portrait mode. Someone care to test with both Kasty and stock rom ?

I'm on stock rom.

1. I didn't have the flickering issue with my previous test, but i can confirm that it happens from time to time loading random websites.

2. Previously I tested the vandaag.be website. Today I installed the app and can confirm your issue. IMHO the app isn't designed for a high resolution tablet?

See post 155. That is test 2 of v1.3...which is actually good enough to be final. There's nothing more to do with it. I'm waiting on an update from Pipo...and the new M6 Pro tablet I've ordered to test with....thanks to the donations I received from you guys.

I think I might have a bug with the 1.2 Rom with regards to the keyboard. I select English(US) and Greek as input languages but it seems as the language button does not work to alternate between the two keyboards. Sometimes, rebooting helps butmost often it doesn't. Installing alternate keyboards such as Multiling or AI Type does not solve the problem either. Although I enable this input method, Androidstock keyboard seems to take over with the same problems as I mentioned before. Has anybody faced this problem or do you have an idea what might be at fault?

My screen brightness is in the middle, but i also read about HD settings, where can you turn this off?

This is 3g feature drains battery quite often.
Even if you switch off modem, function restores itself at every boot.

I've found that only setting the tablet in "aircraft mode" the 3g module is REALLY disabled, otherwise it is not. Even in this mode you can switch wifi on without disabling the plane mode.

You can check it on battery info of the control panel

I did not check by myself, but in some other forum found that some aplication
called Mobileuncle Tools helps to switch off not needed function.
I was on flights week ago and used aircraft mode, but during 1 hour flight on that mode while watching some series, battery drained about 15-20%.

RileyRom 1.2 and 3G

Hello All,

I have a couple of issues with the 3G functionality and I wonder if anybody else had these problems.

I inserted the sim card with the tablet switched off and unlocked the sim by entering the pin when I switched the tablet on. With the wifi activated there is mobile signal (signal bars) but obviously no 3G activity since I presume the wifi connection takes presedence over 3G for data transfer.

If I deactivate the wifi there is still no 3G activity.

Now if I deactivate the wifi and perform a reboot, then the tablet swithes on with a different wallpaper, different home screen layout, and obvious alteration in the resolution!!! However the 3G then shows small signs of life. In particular, there is a small "G" on top of the signal bars, but little or no data traffic.

I have Riley Rom v1.2 installed. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or any suggestions to solve these issues will be greatly appreciated!

You can flash my 1.3 ROM on post #155. It is from a more recent firmware. Maybe that was fixed.

Keyboard problem

same problem...

Apparently it is an Android v4.2.2 problem!

Download an alternate keyboard app with multiple language support (I downloaded Multiling) from PlayStore then go to Menu, Applications, All, Find Android keyboard and Force Stop it. Also clear data and cache.

Then reboot and activate your new keyboard selection from Menu, Languages and Input.
