Tell me what the exact screen resolution is.

Just ran it on my pipo m6 pro 3g gps wifi. See attatched image.

Thats strange....the resolutions changes when ur tablet is in Portrait or Landscape...

I assume that the M6 pro and the M6 pro 3G are the same boards, just adding a 3G module no ?

In landscape, I've the same result than GPShunter.

ok, got it... its the bottom bar whose responsable for the reduced resolution, both in portrait or landscape.

Not sure ... I've the same results in full screen mode (without the bottom bar) and in normal mode (with the bottom bar), in portait and landscape ...

In reality the full resolution of the m6 pro is exactly the same of the iPad 3-4: 2048 x 1536.
They share exactly the same panel. Verified personally.

There is a method to the madness. It seems that the advertised specs are a generality to make it look good in print. However I do need the exact measurements in order to make the boot screens work correctly. Too small is OK...but too big causes a black screen on boot.

I have to make some adjustments based on those readings.

I'm trying to flash your Rom but there is no "RKAndroidTool.exe" in the RileyRom folder as per instructions. What am I missing please?

The flash tool is in the root folder of the kit. If you need an alternate tool to switch to flash mode, the rkbatchtool is in the alternate tool folder.
