okay, lets go with: HOW TO SHOW TITANIUM TO MAGISK SU?
theres got to be a forced work-around...er, something. I'd be lost w/o my TiTanium.

And Full Twrp BkUp has...wait for it......Twelve (12!) partition?!
What is essential* here and what's not, for a standard recovery?
    * the small files are added boot logos, ut do I need Both the SYS partiiton And SYS. img?
What are the Two image partitions for?

Hi, is it necessary for me to turn on automatic frame rate and resolution switching on Kodi if it is turned on in the stock firmware??

      Thanx!

Make sure in the Ugoos Settings, AFR MediaCodec is turned on, seems Kodi frame-rate switching depends on this.
You also enable it in Kodi and set the whitelist.

Only bug I found was if you want to play 1080p videos but in 3840x2160 resolution, you also need to set Kodi's resolution to 3840 and not 1080p, it seems to ignore the whitelist settings.
But then the mouse pointer is misaligned if using an airmouse, but a keyboard or the ir remote still works.
The stock video player plays 1080p correctly at 3840 resolution unless you put the option limit UI to 1080p in Ugoos settings.

Maybe if the settings in both Android and Kodi are set differently, it will behave correctly, but I'm not sure how to set what.

I like the terminal emulator you passed on.
I got (thru an extended process) magisk (unhidden), twrp, and titanium bkup all installed properly (?) and functioning well.

**I have changed fingerprints a couple of times: mecool, Xiaomi, lg v20, and am on Xiaomi k20 (9pie)

Still cannot pass verify ck tho.
And, it seems, no success on un-ticking ugoos unRoot... it just won't complete the command.
??????? Is This is the 'probable' reason for the CK failure?

          >> Magisk Advanced settings as you said left in place.
RootCker reports Rooted and fingerprint is accurate as modified,
          No Su mgr present
          Output: xbin/su and sbin/magisk
Magisk SU reports all granted rights accurately, Except Titanium, yet it is obviously granted and works as should.

          COMMENTS?

          * Any more insider tweaking you can share about fine tuning thru props mods?
          - it looks like a nifty powerful tool. thnx

mo123 Did you try the 20.2 magisk update?
It Broke Both, the am6pro And my Lg v20.
            A real pia for both.
I fixed the LG v20... and most of the AM6p. But lost the titanium bkup root permission... Again. Grrr!

Do you have time to talk about a patch for this? I feel like a script or similar action would do it. There is some acknowledgment for the problem going back to v14 magisk, but no luck for me yet.

I'm thinking of a full factory wipe, and starting over again.
I'd really rather take a bullet tho.
Every minor tic, tweak, and setting done again?! SukCity! x2

Thank God for twrp, cuz I've managed to break this box a dozen times... and eventually get it back to a somewhat recognizable desktop. V Scarry tho.

I haven't yet checked elsewhere on this Forum, but just to let you AM6 fans know that UGOOS has released and updated hardware model the "UGOOS AM6 PLUS" model which has the S922X-Jchip.Don't have any of the details on the new chip variant, but the fact that the same chip was reported to be released in the new upcoming Minix brand flagship TV box.

I heard they will release a new device with Dolby Vision.
But not sure how it will work since only paid streaming services support DV.
Maybe it will also work with 100GB+ Dolby Vision movies people tend to download.

No Solutions found on my own, and none offered.

I will start over from the beginning.
Please, could someone lend a hand on deleting magisk, without complications?
Not seeing the normal "delete" note in MagiskMgr.

I understand this requires extra care with the original bootloader and recovery, etc.
I'd prefer to leave intact the TWRP as a recovery.
Other than that, safely stripping everything back to day one, first boot status.

Could someone throw me a bone here? Sure need it! Thank you

Surely, A factory wipe via settings couldn't make SW as originally oem delivered?
Could it be reliably as simple as that... dispite the magisk mods to boot and recovery partitions?

Ugoos has full OTA images on their site, can you use one of those?

Hey dude...it's a long way home, but I got there.
I have got to commend the Ugoos Team, this is one bullet-proof machine. I've tried to brick it twenty ways +/-. Thankfully with 0 success.

I wasn't so concerned with source rom, but with the system mods in place by all the attempts at magisk, rooting, unrooting, and my ignorance.
Multiple Failed flashes of stk thru twrp confirmed that we were in dangerous and unchartered waters.
The short version of the long potential disaster is that:
I loaded a few zips like older v2.3 from the Ugo site, TWRP, magisk v20.1 and it's uninstaller, as well as Salv's ATV mod onto a SD. Because by this time, the box had reverted to Broken.
I guess when the am6 swept the sd for a usable file, it found the stk recovery img I had saved(?) Anyway, gone was twrp and stk recv pops up. So I took a shot at the 2.3version, wiped the cache and rebooted.
Before fully loading , it found the newest update, saying "yes" I got back Home. With all (most?) of my data intact. Freaky, for sure!

I'm running quick and smooth as Unrooted and passing Safty Cks... most Fantastic! ...I love 10th chances!
Now, if I could just get some of my root-required apps to run. And I hope all the crap scripts and inits. Etc have been deleted, useless clutter suks.
Obviously I'm pretty stoked' and may have learned something during the adventure... Maybe go slower, and backup EVERY move/ MOD WITH VERY CLEAR Tags.
....just in case an idiot shows up and starts pressing buttons.
Turns out, my "NERD" status may have some hidden benefits afterall. 8~p

Glad you got it back. Even a cat only has nine lives, proceed with caution.

mo123 Were you able to update to magisk 20.2 without issue?
If so, What process do you advise.
What added Benefits to you see, and what modules are you using?

According to Russian users, there are no problems with Magisk.
After you get Magisk working, remember to remove the /system/xbin/su file, it's responsible for stock root and is not needed.
I use the Magisk Hide Props addon to become Google Certified so streaming apps can work.

                              Huh? Okay.
                              So, You, have updated?
Will dumping stk su file assist with some apps being able to gain su access, like titanium?
                              What fingerprint are you using?
Any additional tweaks or mods to the options listed within this mod?
Any Other Modules that you feel are appropriate.? thanks for sure.
