I was looking over Your new Firmware and comparing it to Leyw's 2.0.4 ...

Which Works with Wifi and Your Kernels (thank You) ...

As I was Going through the Build.prop ... I noticed that You use Rock_usb
and Lewy's uses a Modified version he calls HWF_usb ... does that have any thing to do with
the Problem(s) ???

Where you able to Fix any of the other issues Sleep/resume/usb ???

Please let Me know If there is anything I can do or test for You ...

i uploaded the update for t-r42. It's made for my t-r42 firmware! and it's only installable over CWM. Please don't update it if your box has other firmware!

The update should fix the wifi issue. It would be great if someone could please test and report! (i don't have the hardware to test)

Don't forget to wipe cache and david cache after the update!

the build.prop does not have to do with ssues Sleep/resume/usb. It's a problem somewhere in kernel.
It seems this issue is fixed in my latest kernel for k-r42 which i will upload soon.

Ja, that didn't go so well...

After applying the update in CWM and rebooting, nothing appears on the TV. I can't say if it booted or not. Furtunately I made a CWM backup before applying the update and was able to roll back.

Wasser's System

Hello All,

I have been working with Wasser's Kernels and images ... they are great...

There seems to Be a Small issue with his Installer .. update

So I downloaded it and Updated the System.img (By hand with his code) for all to Use ...
All Thanks go to Wasser for his hard work and great Kernels...

So Here is The Step-By-Step :

1) You MUST do these In Order and Do Them all or for some strange reason
it does NOT work ...

2) Install the Stock Firmware ... From First Post on this thread ....

3) Reboot the System and Make sure it comes up ...

4) Then Flash all of Wasser's Images ... From First Post on this thread ....
except replace his system.img with this one ...
Link at bottom of post.

Then Restart Start the System and You should be ready to go ...
Wifi and Bluetooth and Ethernet all work fine ...

Thank you Wasser for all your Hard work ...

Blank Internal Flash Problem

Thanks Wasser for the great ROM and Mitcheal2t for fixing the Wifi issue.


I got Ethernet, Wifi, and Bluetooth working again but now I have one issue with Nand Flash not mounted correctly. My internal flash showing 2GB and Nand Flash I got Blank Internal Flash. SD Card mount option is greyed out.


Does anyone having same issue as mine after gone through all steps with Wasser's customer firmware?

I had this Issue .... But it is Resolved if You follow the Step I showed in my post.

I had the same Issue... You MUST re-flash the Stock Firmware (and Reboot System To Make sure it is
all correct) and then do the Updates ... Flashing of Wasser's Images and My new System.img.

That fixed that issue for me ...

Please Note: 2GB-RAM 8 GB NAND(OS is stored here also So NOT 8 gb where is left over)
Internal Flash is 8 GB
Not Really 8gb it is what ever is left over not used by OS/Firware ...
SD card on RKexplorer is External SD card ...
Plug Card in and SDCARD Highlights (mounts Automatically) and works fine ..

The Error message You posted is caused by not having the
External SD card Plugged In ...

Try Plugging a Micro SD Card Into your Unit and see if The Error messages
Go away ...

NOT lewys Firmware ...

DO NOT Load Lewy's Firmware this code is for Wasser's Firmware ...

Loaded First ...
Wasser's Firmware ...and Then My System.img update ...

ok i have a 16gig micro sd plugged in that is working fine but for some reason this fault is with the internal sd memory if i goto settings storage the internal sd is not mounted and if i try to mount it it asks to format ????

if i try to change wallpaper using gallery it comes up with message no space or not mounted ?????

Go to The Explorer (RKexplorer) and Then See if the SDcard is showing Mounted ??
You should Be able to See it unmount When You pop it out and Mount When You Put it in ...

My Internal Shows Being Mounted and there is Only 1.97 GB of space the rest of the
System is being used By the OS ... The SD card (External is Different)

Post a screen Shot ...

I go To Wall paper Under Normal Settings NOT rock settings ...
And I can Pick from The Wallpaper Images With out Issue ...
I can Pick any of the Existing Images with out issue ...

My system Settings Does NOT show sd card being mounted But I see it mount on the status Bar and
In the RKExplorer ... And It works Fine ...

What Have You Loaded ?? On Your System ... ?? I would Make Sure To Load Apps to the SD CARD
as The Internal Space is very limited ....

Settings Page does NOT update in real time
You must enter and then exit to see sdcard if You push in while in settings screen.
