I just shifted from KASTY ROM to RILEYS ROM v1.8 so far so good no wifi problems ,gps no problems with my mods except that the family Launcher was intact,Google Ears was there too which in my country is worthless, Explorer is there too (which I quickly change over to RootExplorer v3.1.2 paid version).
Change the Superuser to chainfire SuperSU and install the busybox in the xbin folder which SuperSU liked.
Instaled Wifi Tx power app and delete the line TxPower=100 from build.prop. Iset the Wifi power through WiFiTx Power app to 18db to safe the power consumption from the standard 32db for all my Android devices without any trouble/dropped signals.
But What I want to ask RILEY is why is your system partition so small? Immediately after flashing I wanted to install some of my favourite updates and apps in there and I couldnt because the system was full 0Mb was available so I had to take remove AppInjector,Calculator,PiPo Family Launcher (which I dont need, I put in Apex Launcher in my system/app),RKInstaller, RkExplorer (cause it doesnt give root access), Video Editor.
After this is done I could put in YouTube,RootExplorer,ApexLauncher, Updated Maps 7.30,DSP Manager,After market CONTACTS to replace the google Contacts,Updated Calendar Sync from 4.3,Gmail, SuperSU 1.65,Updated Talk(Hangout).
Again my question is what makes your ROM system partition so small (at least it is smaller than stock or KASTY ROM), why do you have to do that since we already have an option to increase the data partion to 4,6,8,10 or whatever. I do belief that we dont need such a big system partition but at least a 10% margin immediately after flashing should be sufficient for any mods.
I found this out from the app SYstemCleanup when it says 0Mb available in system partition and I thought that my flashing did not flush or format properly.
And also I replaced the RILEYS boot animation (which look gross) and the size!! 24Mb for bootanimation to the PiPo stock animation which is a manageable 6.9Mb.
Now it has a 32Mb unutilised space instead of 0Mb!
