Battery drain is not an issue. There is no battery. Make sure your PSU can deliver though.

Heat is an issue. Make sure you have it properly ventilated.

My memory is clocked at 667 which works fine for me and on most devices. Your mileage will vary.

I'm trying to get it to work for a PQ Labs G3 touch screen 46" overlay with no luck so far.

I tired insmod the module that Finless added but my CX-919 just reboots. I tried cross-compiling the drivers provided by PQ Labs but got the same result (with this driver it also causes the "stock" firmware to reboot). There seems to be some other libraries (.so) I need to compile (libtinyxml and libusb) which I can't for the life of me get to compile correctly...

I have a Acer touchscreen at home as well and I will/should test it out and will post back on result.

I really which I knew how to cross compile properly, I'm just tinkering. Also don't know if the Android toolchain I have is correct for the Finless ROM. Any pointers would help...

Actually I used the version before this 13.11, but this one should work as well.

Search this forum for Marvin, it is a tool that will help you compile kernels.

I was reading in another FT forum that the DDR RAM runs at 400 mhz. They suggested to overclock it to 800. Supposedly the only down side is battery drain. I'm not usually one to overclock devices but I was wondering if anyone has tried this on our device. I would assume one would need to use one of the OC Kernels in the 1.6b ROM.

Overclock RAM to 800

Hi All,

Btw I had a 5v 2a samsung power supply that worked fine. Had no problems with reboots whatsoever for the couple hours I stayed on stock rom

I had the same exact problem. Tronsmart cx-919 from geekbuying. Bought last week, died after 2 days! Had screen flickering after flashing 1.6b and neomode 1.3. Went back to stock rom problem still present when it wasnt to begin with, then after one more flash the stick has completely died. No power whatsoever. Not recognised by pc - nothing.

Wish I knew what causwd it and what the reason for thwle screen flickering is as didnt get any feedback on why that might be or where I went wrong.

My advice, go back to stock rom while you have a chance. Dont overclock and pray you didnt get a dud like ne.

Geekbuying are shit at responding. Have an open dispute with paypal, I will get my money back one way or another

The power supply from your phone is probably .5 amp and isn't big enough. Try the power supply that came with the android stick or get a 2.1amp from Amazon.

FYI the power supply from my iphone causes a reboot every couple of minutes.

Hey guys I have problem with my cx919. I try and stream movies using es file explor and any player. It plays fine for 10-15mins then just stops. Any help appreciated
