Just trying to track down an issue with 3D. I have a Panasonic (Active 3D) and in the past I have had 3D working fine on XBMC. I am pretty sure in the previous version of JustXBMC but can't be sure.

The issue is that for SBS the images don't align properly. THere are small borders (vertical lines) where it is obviously not lined up on the left and right. Reading forums, etc. it appears to be a overscan issue. I have looked at my XBMC settings and TV and can't quite get it right. I wonder if the screen scale has something to do with it? If I increase the screen scale, it appears to lessen the issue, however if I have the screen scale set to fit the Android screen/xbmc in the screen the issue is worse.

Has anyone else played with getting 3D right? Are there other settings in the background I am not aware of? My GUI calibration is empty in guisettings.xml.

    Cheers!

Brilliant. I was trying 100% scale but was going with 'just'/pan and scan mode. My TVddoesn't have 1:1 but 16:9 worked perfect.

        You are fantastic thanks Lewy.

System bar autohide does not work properly.

I can't turn off android system bar in xbmc. If I turn on autohide mode in preference, system bar hide, but when I return to XBMC, it's always on How I can turn off it permanently?

                    justBMC won' run stable

                    Hi!

                    I've a problem with my X7.
The minix freezes at least 1-2 per day and several times when updating the audio / movie library.

Any diagnostics software I can run? It seems justBMC runs better on other X7 devices. Perhapse mine is broken?

Second issue: when running Live-TV with "Add-on:VU+ / Enigma2 Client" and my Dreambox, Channel up / down "kills" xbmc and with some buttons, sleep etc I can get back to the homescreen.
Additionally, when I'm running live-tv and opening the menu, the stream begins to stutter. Performance issue?

                      1080p50 playing only with stutter

                      Dear all!

I have a MultiConsole (=Minix X7) and tried various firmwares (JustXBMC, Wasser, QS3, Miracle,...). The firmwares work really smooth - but I am not able to solve one problem: My homemade videos in 1080p50 will not playing correctly on any of the firmwares.

                      Problems are:
                      - stuttering
                      - and/or growing time lag between video and audio (video is playing more slowly than Audio).

Even if the videos are small (app. 50 MB) and directly on the SD card.

I have searched the forum for possible solutions - but didnt find any? Maybe anyone of you has an idea?

                      Thx in advance!

                      Regards

                      Oliver

P.S.: On my Raspberry Pi B+ with OpenELEC (a special XBMC version) the videos play perfectly....

Thats correct that 50fps does not work well on minix x7, regardless of ROM.

Would be nice if there was something to do with it

                          CPU usage and performance issues

Hi all - wondering if I can get some help.

My x7 and JustXBMC has been running well for a while now. Over the past couple of weeks, I noticed that every now and then the UI becomes slow and if I check the CPU usage in SYSTEM INFO I see the CPU usage is quite high. Often when this happens the background images don't appear, etc. If i try to reboot from XBMC, it often stalls and I have to reset by pulling the power.

                          Has anyone else experienced this?

Also - yesterday when I had this issue occur, I rebooted and then when it booted back up, I was on the normal launcher, not XBMC. When I clicked the justXBMC icon on the home screen, it said it could find it. The app was missing. I then reinstalled it form the stand alone APK and when I rebooted, the unit kept going back to recovery boot screen (maybe I did something wrong). Anyway, I re-flashed JustXBMC. After a while, I got it all back up and running as I did before. However, the CPU issue is still occurring occasionally - and SAMBA/CIFS shares keep crapping out 5 or 6 times throughout a movie (mnted via busybox). This never happened before.

Is there some sort of diagnostics I can run to monitor what is using the CPU? I have nothing else installed apart from Root Explorer. In XBMC, just Pandora (rivy), XBMC Library Auto Updater and that is all(apart from the standard installed with ROM).

Anyone else had something similar happen?

Why not just disable all running services until they are need with greenify? That would certainly improve overall performance. Also be sure to install greenify paid experimental addon (to greenify system apps as well) and also install boot manager. You'll also need to install xposed. Then buy titanium backup that way once you get everything tweaked the way you like it, you'll never have to do any work gain and it's smooth sailing

Fantastic I will have a look into that. I have been meaning to install titanium as I have it on my phone. Just resetting XBMC up with only my shares and will run that a couple of days. If performance is good, it could be something I have done with my standard set up with XBMC.

Will look into the other suggestions also - thanks!

Sounds like your issues have been well answered but I just thought to mention that I used "Elixir 2" to track down a resource hog on a couple of my phones and it worked quite well with the free version.
