Which version of XBMC is used? Can I use all Addon and install HubWizard?

I don't know the exact version but the addons work just like any other version of XBMC. I tried a few and didn't have any problems.

I had a closer look. Tested some more 1080p files with real 1080p kernel. Most files played quite good, but not real perfect. After 30min box got too hot, so playback began to judder very heavy.

I restarted with 720p kernel and this is perfect.

Does anyone know how to start the OUYA mode?

The X7 has a large heatsink on the CPU so that's why your box got hot as it probably doesnt.The X7 is one of the best built boxes available.The Ouya mode is a plug in which lewy will release when he has fixed it.

Thanks for your answer. 720p Kernel is perfect for now, plays 1080p absolutely perfect.
Perhaps i will put a big heatsink on the cpu ;-)

justXBMC "new firmware for x7"

You quit XBMC and it will take you to the desktop with a few icons. You can use ES file explorer and navigate to the place you have your app and install or go to Play Store app, go to store, lookup app and install from there. This rom is best of both worlds--If you are happy with XBMC you never have to leave it but it lets you have all the options from the desktop as well as soon as you quit XBMC.

Hello,

I flash the rom but when i play a MKV it is verry choppy.
when i use the latest xbmc nightly it runs like a charm.

did i do somthing wrong?

i can make xbmc as a launcher, no problem with that
but then i will have 1000 questions why xbmc start without my settings etc
it will happen for sure as sometimes xbmc will start before internall sdcard will mount
if some one know how to delay a launcher start please tell me and i will do it like you want.

But then i did the same with my TV-shows catalog but when scraping no cover or info shows up, and no new tab called TV-shows showed up. I can play them if i go into files but it shall look the same as movies does, right?

Now i figured this out, XBMC don't like when seasons is in diffrent folders. So if i just put all seasons in one folder and it works just fine.

thanks for this custom rom. I need help baceuse no addons works with this justxbmc, only get "dependance not meet" or "script failed" on every addons I try to install from fusion; some addons try to update with Eden version, plus the superrepo is empty, so I probably miss somethings; I like this "light" rom and the xbmc installed, but It's useless for me as is, so I need help from which have the setup working fine; before I've Finless 1.6 rom and XBMC 12.2 and all work fine, what I've done wrong?

Try reloading JustXBMC rom again and start from there. A lot of people including me have had no trouble installing Add-ons. I did one from fusion as well. It is certainly worth a try as it only takes ~10-15 min. You must have spent hours already trying to install addons.

Yes, all work fine now, but I've a strange error in xbmc, addons.py or system.py, maybe the file went corrupted, I'll try a new flash of the firmware.

Hey Lewy.
Here is a short summery after two days of testing.

Added movie directory with smb protocol in xbmc.
Streaming with cable lan.

Day 1 with 1080p Kernel, Debugging shows about 50% cpu:
Played 1080p Movie with DTS sound absolutely perfect, but...
after about 60minutes perfect playback, movie began to sludder.
Getting heavier and heavier to the end. Every two seconds about 5 freezing frames.
Audio played perfect the whole time!

Rebooted the box and everything played great after that. Because the device was quite warm i thought it would be too hot, because of overclocked kernel.

Day 2 with 720p Kernel, about 30% cpu:
Played 1080p Movie with DTS sound absolutely perfect, but...
after about 60minutes movie began to sludder. Getting heavier and heavier to the end. Every two seconds about 5 freezing frames.
Audio played perfect the whole time!
Just stopped the movie, played another 1080p movie - perfect.
Switched to first movie and played the last 30 minutes without any problems.
So it can't be a temperature thing.

Something with the cache seems to be the problem.
You added some network things in the advancedsettings.xml and in the build.prop.
Do you have an idea how to solve this problem?
