Sounds like your issues have been well answered but I just thought to mention that I used "Elixir 2" to track down a resource hog on a couple of my phones and it worked quite well with the free version.

I am still having issues with CIFS/SAMBA playback which I never had before. I think maybe one issue was I had 3 devices all with Yatse XBMC remote talking to the box. I have noticed it is more stable since I stopped that working - but could be an assumption at the moment.

I am wondering whether my router is also playing up. Unsure. Just slowly trying to eliminate options.

Replaced my router (netgear D6200) for my old Linksys WAG200G and all samba shares are good... Performance is great now. Both were wired Eth. Bit odd.

Will put it back in and see if issues appear again to confirm.

I have a k400 Logitech and I hit it occasionally when hitting enter! Been meaning to change the keyboard layout to remove this mapping, when I can work that out!

Many ROMs are spoofed as another device (often an s3) to avoid any issues with 'incompatible with device' issues in Play Store, and apps, etc. It is correct for justXBMC.

Fast startup and even nfs connection to other source (NAS) works like a swarm : ).

Can someone help me with accessing data /data within just XBMC?

I am trying to setup pseudotv live and use TV libraries setup by the Genesis plug-in but I can't add them as a file source because I can't navigate to the data/data folers. I can access these folders outside of XBMC with file explorer and showing hidden files.
I saw a post by Lewy on the minix forums saying that justxbmc may need superuser privileges but no follow up of solution listed.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What Andoird version this use? I have now the quickshot 3.1 but I have flickering issue. Can I use justXBMC or will brick my minix as quickshot now has KitKat... Any suggestions or guide how to use justXBMC but without the risk of bricking?

Stuck on boot

Hi all,
Every now and then my x7 running latest JustXBMC will start acting up a bit, stuttering sound, etc. From XBMC (or sometimes the main android launcher) I will reset the device, but find that when it resets, it locks up on the boot screen.

I use the standard white boot animation with the newtons cradle/ball clicker thing.

It will sit there, running the animation, doing whatever it is and taking a long time to boot. Then it will freeze. Nothing works except a reflash.

THis is now the third time it has happened.

Is there a work around? Unit/ROM issue?

I might try a different rom for a while, but for now I am getting JustXBMC back up and running again as it is normally really good for me.

Any help is appreciated.
