That would be great news. By the way, I have only one more question. Are the software buttons in the bar at the bottom are like in this picture?:

I mean with the home button at center, because in the last pipo firmware I tried the volume buttons were both at right side, that was a little annoying for me. That was why I changed to my actual rom.

The change to the buttons on the bottom is Android 4.2.2. That's the new standard layout.

But now that I look closer...you are right. They've moved the buttons around. Home is now middle. That's strange. I didn't do that.

In all PIPO ROMs I've tried in android 4.2.2 The buttons were at middle, just like:
"back - home - recent apps - volume down - volume up"

Like I said, that was anoying to me because the home button supposed to be at center of the screen. I the ROM I have right now (not a pipo stock rom) the buttons are just as they should be:
"volume down - back - home - recent apps - volume up"

Thats why I wanna know if this new rom has the buttons in right order too. It's not the big deal, but for me is a factor to have in mind.

The only bad with this rom is the boot....no Pipo logo and it lags...like crash sometimes...until it is fully booted....please fix that.

Yep, the boot animation was the problem...I think.

I just updated the link in post #1 for a 2nd test version.

Please download again and report the results.

                Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Then, this second version is just to fix the bootanimation problem? Do you think it would be enought if I change the boot animation by myself or it this second version has more changes perhaps?

For the sake of getting other things working, I switched to a smaller boot animation graphic. On the M9 Pro and M6 Pro ROM's I was testing, the boot animation caused a black boot and other things to not work correctly. So on test2, all I did was change the boot animation file. That is the only difference at this point.

I'm sorry for all of the headaches with this particular update. Certain changes in the system have made it difficult for me to just produce a ROM without a tablet to test. This ROM boots fine on my M8 Pro, but wifi doesn't work, so I can't test everything. So, I'm asking some more experienced users to test this new ROM in stages.

By eliminating that element, we can see if the rest of the ROM works, OK.

Another thing that would be handy is if you can download an app called ScreenSpecs (free from Google Play) and run it to tell me the exact (actual) screen resolution. This will help me when it comes time to finalize the boot animation screens we will end up with.

                    Thanks for your help!!!!!!

I flashed the test2 rom....it is better the boot animation but i think it was some more work........finally,the rom is perfect, very smooth and it is the first time the tablet to be so fast.No lag,the browser opens instantly and the websites load very fast........wifi more stable ever.....and until now from 100% the battery after 2 days with 2 flashes and testing is just 75%........Multiwindow works and is a good function and multiusers.

I'll stay with this rom until something new come out.

ps: Any idea how to activate pipo launcher?

Update: Everything works except when running Antutu, screen get scrambled, then tablet off itself... strange.

Successfully installed 2.0 Test 2 on Wi-Fi version. Switched from 1.8. All seems to be running smooth. I was very surprised to see chinese keyboard on Wi-Fi setup during first startup where need to activate device using certification center and new boot screen where Riley Rom version is shown as 1.6. When device is started and I passed Boot Wizard, I have stuck on com.android.provision.DefaultActivity, nothing happens and pressed two times back button, then I have appeared on Launcher select mode. Multiuser is working. Thank for your work!

I have only one strange issue with multi-user mode. I could not have any background on second user on main page of launcher window, it is set to black, even if select something.

I noticed that too. Everything else works great
Also the resolution Screen Specs is reporting is 1280x752 px.
